solid points, beginner boy.dont think beverley really guards luka a whole lot anyway does he?not sure as i havent watched a tonne of their matchups but he obviously is waaaay too small to be on him a great deal.
and the warriors bench is kinda mercurial it seems, can be god awful one game and scorching the next..i figure they are getting more comfortable in their roles as the season wears on and they have played together and gained confidence and it helps when the starters lay a good foundation..but yeah i dont see any great disadvantage with lee/paschall/bazemore/wiseman etc vs harrell/kuzma/horton tucker.

Don’t forget Poole. He is a baller. I like what I’ve seen out of him.

Not expecting the Warriors to lay down like that. I know they are not a great team but neither is this version of the Lakers. Labron obviously wanted this game more, and his teammates were motivated by him. It was either that or he put the fear of God in them. LBJ has an amazing record against teams he lost titles to. One day I gotta look it up, but I’ll be surprised if it’s anything less than a 75% win rate. He has beaten on the poor Mavs and Spurs for years, and now it’s the Warriors turn. The fact that the Warriors can’t put two consecutive good games together is pretty sad from a competitive standpoint. Where was the fire? Where was the passion? To get humiliated like this in 3 out of the last 6 games?! And all on national TV? Disgusting. At least now we have a new angle:
Average teams, like average male porn stars, can only shoot their wad once! After beating the Jazz, these guys needed viagra to get themselves up for this game. Meanwhile the Clippers are now 7-0 on back to backs.

BB, before the All Star break you bet on the Warriors to win against Portland I think it was, saying it was a must win because the next 4 games are spots they will lose in. Just wondering what made you change your mind after noticing initially these are losing spots, and will you double down on them against Houston even if they are a 8-10 pt fav?

I thought they were losing spots but then when I saw how thin the Lakers were all of a sudden, no Gasol, no Caruso, and the Warriors mailing it in against the Clippers and turning it on against the Jazz, with a revamped/revitalized bench, I thought they would have a good shot at taking out LA. I certainly didn’t see a complete no-show. But it makes sense as Sunday was Steph’s birthday and who knows how these guys celebrated, even with Covid, after beating the team with the best record in the Jazz. They looked lethargic and completely disinterested. It’s one thing to lose to a team that hammered you a couple of weeks ago, but then to get hammered again at home without putting up a fight? Didn’t see it coming. To make matters worse, LBJ wanted to beat Curry and the Warriors again, without Davis, in the worst possible way.
The Lakers went all out for that thumping so I’ll fade them tonight against the lowly but resurgent wolves at +9 to win back what I lost.
Warriors minus whatever might be worth a play against the Rockets as that’s about the only thing the Warriors have been consistently good at this year: beating bad teams.
