the guy is either hurt, or can't get his team out of the first round. I know, YAO and others are hurt, but wasn't YAO out when they ran off that wining streak? Sure his overall numbers tonight are impressive, but he did nothing in the second half, and his team will probably get swept in the first round... A superstar he is not.

if i remember correctly the streak was against mostly subpar teams and with no threat down low w/ ming out once again rockets r screwed and will bow out first round

kindve feel bad for tmac that the rest of his team sucks so bad , same story every year for them

These aren't the first two postseason games during 4th quarters  that  McGrady has disappeared .

It's happened many a time..............

He couldn't lead a hamster..............

He is definately not a superstar but he tried in the 4th quarter but he had no help and Utah did a good job of doubling him. If there bigs could finish at the rim they would of won the game.

I like TMAC too but yeah he has never ever carried a team on his own. It's funny how during the win streak eveyrone figured hey this team plays a better style without Yao, but you can't be relying on 65 year old Mutombo in the playoffs

i think he is more of a team player and wanting to have fun then really winning... if he wanted to win wouldn't he be shooting more in the 4th? and if he is the star, doesn't stars score in the 4th? fucking over 23.5 pts i had. he needed 2 in the 4... he gets 1...

You guys are all dumbshits.....Tmac was one assist away from a triple double and you all think he sucked tonight. 

Do any of you remember Kobe in the playoffs last year?  First round exit!

Like EliteLegends says, a one man team can only take you so far....especially against a Jazz team that is stocked from top to bottom and on the bench.

He is always hurting.

It's that built in excuse for when he isn't playing well. I'm telling you that this is not new. He's done this his whole career.

Any team even bumps into him a few times, he just shoots outside. When those stop falling, then he's hurt. Everytime postseason. Years............

He can't play teams that put bodies on him, such as Utah obviously.

Yao was there for like 11 games of the streak...

McGrady is most definitely a superstar. To think he isn't is stupid.

He has the ability to take over a game but Jazz are a superior team that in my opinion will win the West.

U R the idiot... Comparing Kobe to this wimp.... HAHAHA... I remember Kobe last year bustin' his balls vs. Phoenix and almost pulling out the upset vs. a more talented team... McGrady will get swept this series.... I wouldn't take this guy on my team... overpaid for what he gives you.. Yeah, he almost had a triple double, like i said the stats will be there for this and other games, but where was he tonight when the team needed him.... He is NOT a superstar.

You guys are just bitter because you lost money tonight. Utah Jazz are an incredible team and losing by 6 to them is NOTHING to be ashamed of. The burden falls on Tmac against a great defensive team. And don't call what Kobe did anywhere near "good". He blew a 3-1 lead playing horribly in the last game of the series and against the worst defensive team in the league. Utah are a much more well rounded team than that suns team especially for postseason play.

McGrady is a superstar, whether you believe it or not, thats fine. Sure he hasnt done shit in the playoffs like Kobe Etc. That does not matter. So your telling me Garnett is not a superstar either when he was with the Wolves??? Anyone who doesnt think he's a superstar is just plain stupid. The issue isn't the first round, but every game in any playoff series, and try to play all four quarters once.
