Guys remember, please try and add a write-up to your plays? Gives those who are tailing a reason to why you are making that play. Doesn't have to be an essay, just 1-2 sentences..

Miami's schedule for the last 3 weeks has been pretty brutal, basically living on the road with token home games here and there but immediately back on the road right after. At this point, they've got to be feeling the full effect of all that travel (tired legs). This being the first game of a 3 game road trip, I don't think they want to get into a shoot out with Houston.
On the other side, Houston's 3-pt shooting may have a tough time going against the #4 3-Pt defensive team (by %) and/or they may just pass it up completely as Whiteside (along with Howard) will be out of the game. Houston attempts about 31 threes a game and makes about 11. Whether they miss or just go for the twos in the paint, there's a possibility of a lot of points missing from their average. And if they do take em, Howard being out reduces their ability for boards (applies to Miami also to a lesser extent) which may lead to less possessions (wasted time going back and forth).
Lastly, I think we are getting some value here on the spread which currently sits 5 points from the opener. Maybe not the entire 5 but 1-3 possibly. I'm sure Howard being ruled out contributes a little but I have a hard time believing linesmakers didn't have an inclination of Howard's suspension since it was due to striking a ref on SATURDAY.
Devils advocate: The absence of the big men could lead to a quicker pace but as stated above, I think with Miami's road weariness, they will try and keep a slower game...especially having to face the dangerous Houston offense.
(now that I wrote all that... lol)

Miami defends the three the second best in the league behind the Spurs. They have been on a roll lately and Howard being out is going to hurt Houston. I think Miami wins outright but give me the four points just in case.

Here we go again, Heat are red hot winners of 4 straight. Rockets on the other hand have lost 3 straight albeit 2 of the losses vs spurs and OKC so not entirely terrible. So ask yourself why are Rockets-4(this line is too high folks) with all the action being played on Heat? The news of the Howard suspension moves the total 5 points but doesnt budge the side?? Fishy if you ask me. Ill side with the house on the inflated line. Goodluck with your plays tonight

The line moved from -5 to -4 for Miami.
