Game of the Week 3-0 Game of the Month 0-0 GOY 0-0
I thought I'd post my games early since there are some afternoon games tomorrow.
SACRAMENTO +7.5 ( 2 units ) The Kings are coming off a game in which they scored 60 points and shot a stunning 25% from the field. Flat is probably an understatement. This team is under achieving . The last game at Dallas was an embarrassment. I expect a much better performance today. The question i ask myself ! Are the T-WOLVES a team that is ready to be laying 7.5 points. They are 7-4 ATS but 2-2 when laying points. They laid 6.5 against the Cavs and 4.5 against Memphis and lost both games straight up. This number 7.5 is an all time high for Minnesota and a comes against a desperate team. I can't help myself here but to take the dog.
WASHINGTON +5.5 ( 1 unit ) This is not a good spot for the Rockets who are 1-6 on the road. This game is sandwiched in between 5 home games.
CLEVELAND +2 ( 1 unit ) Obviously the wrong favorite in my opinion. The reason why the oddsmakers decided to make the Bobcats a favorite is because the Cavs are playing their 7th straight road game. It actually isn't that bad because it's been over a 13 day period and when you consider we do have some 9 game in 12 night situations this season I'm going to dismiss this as an excuse for a young upcoming energetic team. CLE WINS SU HERE
OKLAHOMA CITY -2 ( 1 unit ) There are several adjectives i can use to describe this Boston Celtics team ! UGLY , UNINTERESTED , TIRED, DEFEATED. This is a small number to lay here for one of the Elite teams in the league. No letdown here. Every young team want's to beat up on Garnett , Pierce and Allen.
GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY MLK DAY TO ALL MY AMERICAN FRIENDS

Taking a look at the over in the Kings/Wolves game. You noted the horrible offensive performance by the Kings the last time out, which leads me to believe they bring a much better effort to the table on the offensive end tomorrow. Minnesota is 8th in pace and Sacramento is 4th in pace in the league thus far, so I can see these two teams running with each other.

Kinda leaning Charlotte to beat Cleve. The cavs are in a tough spot having to play east, then going west, and back to the east again on a road trip (coupled with the fact it will be an early game).
Michael Jordan had a big inspirational meeting with the bobcats before the warriors game challenging their manhood as men. they also sat diaw and reshuffled their lineup entirely as well (shuffled tyrus thomas for diaw and moved everyone around), it was also kemba walker's first start.
they responded with a thrashing beating the warriors soundly and very convincingly. playing inspirational basketball and driving to the hoop with fervor.
with the spot cleveland is in, and the possibility of the jordan influence/meeting still fresh with the team, even if its just lingering,.. coupled with the fact that immediate success with a reshuffled lineup can instill instant confidence for a young team, albeit for the short term.. added to the revenge factor as the Cavs beat em already, could make this a play for charlotte (since they're still at home and rested)
they could be on an upward trend (especially facing poor teams)

I've been listening to interviews of the bobcats and found some interesting things.
Moving Henderson to the 3 position, the first time he played the 3 since college, also made a huge difference for the team. He played really well there against GS.
listening to Henderson and how he studied tape on the past 4 games and realizes he needs to continue driving to not only get higher percentage shots, but to get fouled is a good thing. Basically, this team has turned a 180 as far as team philosophy just listening to these guys speak. Going to the small lineup and sitting Diaw has made them move and run the court a lot faster , as well as forcing them to crash the boards. Every player realizes that they need energy to win games, and can't beat anyone with a sluggish effort. The players are very happy to see Tyrus Thomas move to the 4 position and in there on the defensive end blocking shots (Tyrus seems to be very well liked in that locker room). Moving forward they're giving me vibes this energy will continue today vs the cavs.
They sound like a happy team. And that alone can go a long way.
