Does anyone know why this line moved from -2.5 to a pick I haven't found anything on the injury report that says Kobe,Lamar, or Pau is out info would be appreciated.

I actually agree with you. You present a side that I did not see. Plus I think some people may adjust their spreads by a point or two anyway. I hate adjusting the rules again but I think that I will not allow any buying. I could just start posting lines also but it is more work. I may have to do it. It would ensure that everyone is on the same playing field. What do you think?

Buying a couple points on this thread makes no sense because there is no cost involved ... if you win - you win but if you lose you need to pay the price of losing but not here because only net wins and loss's are counted with no consideration to cost.
 
And the biggest reason it shouldn't be allowed ... mention to a good capper anywhere on the covers site that you're hitting 65 % on the WillBetAnything thread and the response you'll get is "oh that thread --- that's the thread that you can add or subtract 2 points to all the lines -- therefore you should be hitting 70 % " ... it's like teeing up on the ladies tee for 18 holes of golf !!!
 
Buying points is a terrible idea !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
 
The whole idea reminds me of what is happening with the public education system ... kids find it tough to get a passing grade of 60% so instead of telling them to study harder ... what do the educators do ... they make the tests easier so more students can hit 60% so they can "feel good" but they have learned nothing !!!


Thanks for the feedback Chump. I just answered AX regarding the same thing and I will get rid of the point buying after tonight. You made a very good case. Something that I didn't think of. With so many varied lines being posted do you think that I should just post the lines?

Suggestion,,so you do not have to post lines,,,,perhaps just list something as follows....all lines will be as listed on ,,,,,,and then name a site,,,let the participants look there to get the line,,,any other line used does not count

Wow my new rules has turned into being very unpopular. After reading your comments and many others I find myself in total agreement. So after today there will be no point buying. I may consider posting lines though. Thoughts? Thanks for the feedback.

WillBet ...... the MOST desirable thing to do is post all the lines ... to make up for the extra time it would take ... get rid of all the "inactive names" on the list ... I'm guess there are over 600 names but only 200 active posts everyday ... most of the "inactives" are probably those that changed their name so as to have a better chance to get on the beloved "hot list"  !!!

Perhaps you should just go to any site...Pinny...5dimes...whatever, and post their opening lines in this thread. That way everyone is on the same playing field. The issue with joeythetuna's suggestion is that you'd still end up with different lines.
