Thanks AX - and I must say there was a time I bought points - glad u posted yer remarks - wish you would more often - some of us have a lot to learm (me) and - not blowin smoke up yours or do I think we shud have , what I call, 'bitch chatter' on this thread - but occassionally(sp?) some good advice, I crave and you obviously been doin this a long time and r good - despite your modesty. And most import. want to give highest regards to WBA's dedication to this site - it's really helping folks in this very cool thing we do. BOL P.S. the buyers of 3 points always astound me most.

By the way I totally agree with Ax, Chump, jlitter, burnetto and others about the idea of buying points, obviously you create these thread and you make the choice and Im really grateful with your job, but is worth it to have a nice record over 60% without buying points; I dont have anything against pucku, but I think is pointless to post a 22-5run or something similar  if you buy 2, 3 or more points per game; is like giving in baseball 20 picks of -200, going 22-5 isnt a big big deal;however I think he is a good capper. Just sharing my opinion good luck everybody tonight !

I'm not a fan of buying points. In fact for the validity of the cappers percentage to be accurate on this thread, perhaps it should be ruled that only flat bets can be entered. Just my opinion.

I agree with Chump, "and the biggest reason it shouldn't be allowed ... mention to a good capper anywhere on the covers site that you're hitting 65 % on the WillBetAnything thread and the response you'll get is "oh that thread --- that's the thread that you can add or subtract 2 points to all the lines -- therefore you should be hitting 70 % " ..

buying points might not be the greatest idea but its not like we are keeping unit tracking in this thread.
 
and as far as the line goes, as long as its not made up then its ok. for example if i actually caught a line like SAS -5 and then it goes up to -7 and i posted late when it was -7, it doesnt mean i didnt catch it at -5. if i go online at 1am and post a bet on my book, im not going to covers to post, im going to bed and will post the next day in the afternoon. and if the line is at -7 by then it doesnt mean i didnt catch at -5. now if people are making up lines like SAS -2 for that same game then thats a problem.
