Butler recently called out his entire team calling them “soft” and said if the issues are not fixed he wants the Heat to “keep losing”. Those words should not be taken kindly by his teammates. He also stated that he wants Adebayo and the Heat to play “Bully ball”. He specifically called on Adebayo to attack the rim and dunk on somebody stating that “no one can stop him” while also urging him to shoot the mid range jumper more often. Before I read this article I felt as if the Heat might pose some problems for Brooklyn and for the same exact reason....Adebayo. I think he will be an issue for Brooklyn. Without Harden on the road against a better defense and a coach of Spoelstra caliber is something Nash might not be ready for. Harden accounted for 20 points and 8 assists shooting 70 percent from the field while Irving shot 35.3 and Durant 28.6 in the last meeting. It seems the Heat did something effective to slow down Durant and Irving and now face these same two without Harden on their home court.

Just wanted to add that Butler and Herro did not play in the last meeting. Dedmon has also been added to the roster and bolsters their front court at 7’0”. Long travels for Brooklyn as well. If all signs point towards the Heat then I roll with the Heat. It’s not like Brooklyn has been playing good ball of late. They got dispatched at home against the Lakers, beat the Wolves, lost to the Sixers, and beat Charlotte. The pattern is lose, win, lose, win. Miami one of the better teams in this league mainly due to the fact they play defense. Butler specifically said to attack the rim and that’s gonna be a problem for Brooklyn because it will most definitely open more opportunities elsewhere by doing so. All the Heat really need to do is get the ball in the hoop at a decent percentage to win this game. Defensively they’ve already won. So let’s see where this Miami Heat offense takes us if you’re down with the play.

3-1 today after heading back to my local to pound the Heat. Not sure if Heat get the win had Durant played the entire game but I’ll gladly except the results. 

I’m looking into these Dallas and Clippers game tonight. The rest of those games are pure shitfests.
