Thanks for the play SB (not sarcastic). Even though it lost, I don't feel like it was a bad call. Thanks for all the responses in-thread and keep up the great work, most of us appreciate you sharing your insights =).
What's your opinion on trying to middle/hedge the 2H in these cases, with a team like the Grizz that tends to claw their way back at the end of games? I feel like it's worked out often if I have time to watch the game and get a feel for the flow, but probably also cuts into profits unnecessarily. Thoughts?

Yeah, I'm not gonna apologize for my bet, I just really thought it was gonna cash.
As far as hedging goes I think that if you have a big enough lead to hedge, then it is an ok idea.
For example, getting a 3-4 pt hedge isn't really worth it, when these scenarios happen, it's more of just cancelling your bet than going for a middle.
I've had opportunities especially with totals where I had 25 pts to play with, in these cases it's not a bad idea to go for the middle.
For the most part, it can be ok....as for tonight hindsight says take it, but at halftime I didn't want to. I saw Denver in transition early and they were holding Memphis to 29% from the field....it was just a shitty way to lose at the end. Missed ft's, couldn't get the rebound late etc...

Better luck tomorrow smarts...U r still one of the best capper and I've been cashing in on ur picks. I saw over 70% of the public taking denver so I stayed away. Good thing I did but I still can't believe Denver lost.. better luck tomorrow!
