As double digit home favorites this season seeking revenge against a team that beat them earlier in the season, the Magic are 3-0 ATS, beating Oklahoma City 108-94, Chicago 111-82, and Miami, 96-80.
The Grizzlies beat the Magic, 99-94, in Memphis on January 25th.
Man, you are becoming a source of bad information.
On January 8, 2010 Orlando lost SU to Washington at Washington 104-97 as a -7.5 favorite. So, as a DOUBLE-DIGIT HOME FAVORITE coming back SEEKING REVENGE against the mighty Bullets, Orlando squandered away a game late to lose SU AS -13 HOME FAVORITES, 92-91 on February 5, 2010.
Ouch, kind of puts a little blemish on that 3-0 mark and in fact that record is 4-1 ATS in that situation this year since Orlando finally solved that genius Flip Saunder's plan against the Magicians as they avenged the that February loss on March 13, 2010 as a -11.5 favorites winning 109-95 to cover the spread.
I guess your stats are just as inaccurate to a certain extent.

Man, my bad but I was referring to the opening line in each contest (obviously changes the ATS results) but Portland was a push at best and a loss for Magic backers on the opening line.
I went by scoresandodds.com, which had the opening line at -9 and the closing line at -8.5. I'm also going by the fact that I had Orlando -8.5.

If stats are irrelevant, then the specific subset utilized by yourself to support your play(s) are just as meaningless IMO.
The above post is in reference to this assertion by you. Trust me, I do not get my stats wrong, I guarantee you that. GL with your Magic play though.
I wasn't saying that stats in general are irrelevant. I was saying that your specific stat about the Magic in the first game of at least a two-game homestand is irrelevant.

That's my bad. I missed that 92-91 home loss to the Wizards. By the way that 109-95 win was in Washington.

Okay, I'll share the gist of it. The situation has to do with when the Magic are seeking revenge for a loss in which Dwight Howard played great while the rest of the team played like ass.
In that January 25th loss in Memphis, Howard led the team with 27 points on 9-14 shooting, sank 9 of his 11 foul shots, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked 6 shots. While he was wreaking all that havoc, his teammates were bricking to the tune of 37.5% (24-64) while attempting two fewer free throws than Howard shot by himself.
Looks like it's Dwight's turn to play like an ass in this game.
