My favorite sport to watch and wager on is finally back. This sport is such a grind with so many injuries and very few players on each roster, you have to pick and choose certain spots to make wagers. I am going to be much more selective this season than previous ones, as I have a really good read on the teams this year and will only pick spots I really like. I will be here everyday, all season. I will make sure of injuries and refs prior to every game I wager. It's a long season and I'm looking to make a nice profit this year. Each wager will be 1-3 Units this season. Each unit is the % of my original starting bankroll. My goal is to make over 30 units on the season. Good luck to everyone this year and let's all beat the fuckk out of the books.

Magic @ Pacers - I like what the Magic are doing going forward, but tonight is a tough spot in Indiana with the Pacers still having a bitter taste in their mouth from game 7 loss last season. Tobias Harris being out makes me not go near the Magic and Pacers going to New Orleans tomorrow night makes me not want to go anywhere near Indiana laying double digits. The spread indicates a 100-88 type game. Pacers only reached over 100 in 14 of their 41 home games last season. Magic defense will not be good at all, but I will lay off the total as well. Only thing I could possibly see being a good bet would be Magic Team Total Under, but laying off tonight.

Bulls @ Heat - Cannot wait for this game, as Rose makes his 18 month return to the NBA regular season. Bulls will be a force this season, but I just cannot pull the trigger on them tonight. As hungry as they will be to beat their hated rival, I just don't like the fact that it is Rose's first game back and the fact that Noah may have his minutes limited/might not even start alarms me on his conditioning right now. Only player out tonight for Miami is Oden, but that doesn't surprise me, nor will that have an impact on this game. I see 57% for the Bulls tonight, not giving the Heat much respect. I think if Noah does start, the Bulls can come out strong early, so a first half bet for the Bulls could make sense, but I am going to lay off. If Miami is losing at half, I may make a wager on them in the 2nd half, as Noah may wear down and Heat will go into finishing mode to get opening night win at home. Books expect around 96-91 Heat win, which could be a little high on the total, but I am laying off with the concerns about Noah.

You had me up intill " Pacers going to New Orleans tomorrow night makes me not want to go anywhere near Indiana" we tend to over think , that is a non factor in this game, The Pacers are expected to contend with Miami I don't see them being worried enough about a trip to New Orleans ( short trip) not to take care of business against a team that has issues without Tobias Harris... Pacers runaway

Clippers @ Lakers - I really don't know what to think about the Lakers, other than the fact that they will be abysmal on the defensive side of the ball. That doesn't bode well for a team going against them that are awesome on the offensive side of the ball. Lakers starting lineup will really have Nash, Blake, Nick Young, Shawne Williams, and Pau Gasol trying to guard the Clippers tonight? I realize that 77% of the bets are on the Clippers tonight, but how can they not score a ton of points tonight in a statement game. Doc hates the Lakers and D'Antoni loves to run. Darren Collison will play tonight, so the Clips are coming in very healthy. Nash already has a lingering neck issue, so who knows how healthy he will be. CP3 will work him hard tonight. I was going to play the Clips team total over, until I saw this quote from Doc. I will wait for the 2nd half to see how these guys start off the season in the 1st.
“It’s tough to evaluate,” Rivers said. “Preseasons are so difficult to evaluate. I like where we are in some areas and we’re behind in some areas. We’re behind offensively . . . defensively we’re ahead of schedule and that’s unusual. Usually it’s the exact opposite.”

Pick and choose your spots. Orlando will be very competitive this season and will not lay down for teams. Indiana, if they get off to a nice start, may settle down in the 2nd half and rest some starters for tomorrow night's game. What's the motivation for the Pacers to blow out the Magic tonight? None. The last two meetings, they beat the Magic by 29 and 22. I don't see a reason for them to pour it on tonight. If you want to lay double digits tonight, go ahead. I'm not going to go near it. Don't be upset if they win by 10 or 11 and call it a fix.
