Gotta throw the house on this one. I've been dinkin and dunkin all playoffs with good stretches, all in wins, bad stretches and all in losses but I'll hang my hat on this game. Pacers off a loss and 1 days rest are relentless. I can't imagine they'll crack a smile in next 48hrs meanwhile Knicks will hit the wall after the series with Philly and going toe to toe at that pace w/ Indy and slipping by with some fortunate calls. Pacers will be all business Wednesday and it won't even be close.

Would think the Knicks only playing a 7-8 guy rotation will wear them out. Makes me nervous that the refs give Brunson a whistle on every shot and drive though.. makes him almost impossible to defend. Good luck though ! I’m trying to get my sanity back after having the pacers and the McNuggets tonight.

Here's what the Indiana Pacers have done since March 5th following a loss...
March 5th - getting 5.5 at the Mavs, they won 137-120 (covered by 22.5)
March 10th - laying 1 at the Magic, they won 111-97 (covered by 13)
March 16th - laying 8.5 at home vs. the Nets, they won 121-100 (covered by 12.5)
March 20th - laying 11 at the Pistons, they won 122-103 (covered by 8)
March 25th - getting 6 at the Clippers, they won 133-116 (covered by 23)
March 29th - laying 3.5 at home vs. the Lakers, they won 109-90 (covered by 15.5)
April 5th - laying 6.5 at home vs. the Thunder, they won 126-112 (covered by 7.5)
April 14th - laying 14 at home vs. the Hawks, they won 157-115 (covered by 28)
April 23rd - getting 1 at the Bucks, they won 125-108 (covered by 18)
April 30th - laying 6 at home vs. the Bucks, they won 120-98 (covered by 16)
Holy cow, the Pacers have won and covered ten games in a row following a loss, and none of their opponents came close to beating them. The Pacers covered these 10 games by an average of 16.4 points. They were underdogs three times and covered those games by an average of 21 points! Now we have gained a better understanding as to why the eagle-eyed StraightWagers is eager to lay various alternate pointspreads for Game 2. Hat tip to him for noticing this and bringing this amazing trend to our attention.
The Pacers starting five averaged 33.6 minutes of playing time in the Game 1 loss. The Knicks? Sheeeet, their starters averaged 42.8!

Over their first 50 games, the Pacers had seven losing streaks of at least 2 games. Over their next 39 games, they have had one losing streak. It lasted 2 games. Over the last three months, the Pacers are 14-1 and 13-2 ATS after a loss, and that includes a 125-111 win at Madison Square Garden on February 10th. OG Anunoby and Mitchell Robinson did not play in that game.

Like the name of an old 70's TV show.... THAT"S INCREDIBLE!
Man if you don't want to get involved with this bounce back tendency, you've got to be a stone walled anti- trend zealot.
GL to all of you with this one, great info

The Knicks are smoke and mirrors. I have no idea how they’re doing this. Lol Thibs is running his starters into the ground. Hart 48 minutes Brunson 43 minutes DiVincenzo 43 minutes OG 43 minutes Hartanstein 36 mins
Wilt Chamberlain averaged 48.5 minutes per game for the entire 1961-62 season. This is one record that will never be broken.

I think you’re onto something . It took Brunson going nuclear and the refs calling shady calls to push this knicks team to win. No mitchell Robinson as well which hurts their depth . If this game is called more evenly I don’t see how pacers don’t run the knicks out of gas . I called it before the series the knicks would bully them but Indiana looked bigger and more physical than NY. Outside of Josh Hart and Brunson who are playing 44/45 minutes a game I think the pacers run n gun them tomorrow

This is great info. I saw they are 25-11 ATS on the season after a loss, but I didn't realize this was so current. I'm already on the Pacers. I might press my bet. Great find MrBator.

only problem is that people said knicks would be warn out and relaxed after philly series and that wasnt the case. they just have a great group of young, determined, and confident players. Roster wise it leaves something to be desired, but they play bigger than what they look. josh hart is a great leader. I think they will be more in tune this game than game 1 actually. They are smart and can't risk going into indy tied at 1-1, and could potentially come back home down 1-3, nah cant happen, tonight is the biggest game of the season.
