This is gonna be a boring post, but the numbers and situation don't warrant a 2h bet IMHO. Cashed yet another 1h under...amazing 9-0. Looking to cash the Bucks TT under but that will do it for me tonight. Gl if anyone is wagering 2h.

Looks like the line is off the board til we know what is going to happen with Derrick Rose. I can't believe the Pacers would be underdogs here, but if they are I'll be putting something on the moneyline. Pacers shouldn't be underdogs at this point. Kind of hoping Rose plays...I think the line could be inflated towards the Bulls if he does.
Both teams off of back to backs, but here's the difference. Bulls had 2 guys on the bench play 20+ minutes...other than that the minutes went to the starters. Pacers had 5 guys with 10 or more minutes off the bench. Pacers are the fresher team here.
I'll have to wait to see the line and totals, but it's a pretty safe assumption I'll be on the 1h under. Going to try and make it an unbelievable 10-0 to start the year on 1h unders. I'll post later today when the line comes out.

Getting them at -2 right now and the o/u for the 1h is 85. Thoughts? Not too happy with my status this week and todays board doesn't look that great. Gonna be laying a bit more on this one today.

Looks like the line I see is Pacers -1. I'm going to take that. I'm normally not a big fan of spreads, but this is basically a pick em, and the Pacers are just flat out better than the bulls right now. I'm also going to play Pacers TT over 89.5. I like the way the Pacers offense has been pushing the ball after rebounds. Once Lance Stephenson gets the ball in transition he's going to the rim hard, and getting results.
Two more small plays. 1h under 86. This is a very low total, but this bet has a chance to go 10-0 to start the season...I'd feel bad if I laid off of it, and then it hit. Not a big play. Also going to throw a little on Bulls TT under 88. Last night they put up 96 against Toronto, and they needed 2 big quarters to get there. Pacers are obviously going to be playing tough D like they always do.
I'll see how the game is going at halftime...if I see anything I like I'll post. We've been real fortunate so far with this team...hopefully it continues.

Pretty brutal first half for Pacers supporters. Couldn't be better for the Bulls. Obviously, I had this game all wrong...but I do think Pacers -5.5 is worth supporting in the 2h. Bulls shot lights out...Pacers missed some opportunities...if both teams regress to their mean, Pacers should be able to chop into this lead. Very impressed by the Bulls so far.

Fantastic game by DRose and the Bulls. This is the type of Bulls team I think can beat the Pacers in a 7 game series. Not sure if you can get this type of Bulls performance in a 7 game series, but we can see how dangerous they can be.
Pacers cash the 2h, and use a big 4th quarter to bail me out of some really bad picks tonight. Easily could've gone 0-4, but took the 2h and got the Pacers TT over to go 2-3. That's a better record than my picks were tonight.
Side Note: Chris Copeland can shoot 3's as good as anyone in the league...but the guy plays defense like he's on the And 1 tour.
Hope everyone had a good night...congrats Bulls backers!!!

I know because I followed him on the Knicks and the letter D was not even in his vocabulary.
I really thought you would have been on the bulls the other night at home with your insight on this team. No matter, good info nonetheless.
I am a bit surprised you think Granger won't get his starting job back. You do remember how great this guy used to be. He was the team's main star (in what seems like another lifetime at this point). He may not win his job back immediately, but I just can't see him on the bench for more than 3 weeks after his return, assuming he will return to 80% of what he was.

I should've been on the Bulls scalabrine, no question about it. I find the Bulls such a hard team to bet on/against because if Rose is hitting those jump shots that team is almost impossible to guard. If he's missing jump shots, they can get beat by 20. I should've laid off that line. Would've been the safer play.
Lance Stephenson is playing fantastic right now, and the word I'm hearing around local media and the team is that Granger's knee/calf is going to really keep him from playing big minutes.
Pacers also have some cap considerations after this year. Lance is a free agent, and he's going to require some money if they want to keep him. They love him here (coach, owner, fans, etc.), and I think they believe he and George can be core players. My hunch is they are going to use Granger as their 6th guy, and look to move him to the highest bidder come trade time. Granger was always a good natural scorer, and I think his defense was a little underrated. He wasn't elite, but he wasn't scared to guard the main guy on the other team. Paul George can do everything he could do, and even then some. Last point I'll make is that the team has invested a lot of time and effort into getting Lance to where he is right now. Moving him to the bench could waste all that if his head gets messed up. I doubt they would do anything to mess with his mindset right now.

For me personally, and my style of handicapping, I don't keep specific track of records for how many picks right and wrong. I used to, but I would start to get to caught up with it, and I would worry more about my record and not enough about just making solid bets. I did go through and get a record of posted plays so far on Pacers games.
Current record 15-5
This will be the last time I keep track of the specific record, but if anyone else wants to feel free. I just prefer to not know about it. Losing streaks happen, winning streaks happen, but at the end of the year I just want to be in the +

Couldn't agree more, I just tallied up my record for the week too but usually don't like doing it as I am happy just staying in the positive whether it be $1.00 or $1,000.00 it is better then nothing.

I don't see how anyone can objectively wager on the Knicks in this matchup. Pacers rested, Knicks just lost to the Pistons and looked bad doing it...and they just don't look good at all.
Knicks are just crushed with injuries, and playing against this Pacers team the second night of a back to back is not the best scenario. Not to mention the Pacers got run off the court by the Bulls, and are going to be looking to get back to their winning ways.
I must also point out that the Pacers front line consists of Hibbert, West, Scola, Mahinmi. Defensive monsters. The Knicks front line consists of Bargnani, Carmelo, K. Martin, and Amare. Defensive embarrassments.
There is one way the Knicks can beat the Pacers, and that's by shooting 60% from 3pt line. DRose did it...Pacers won't let it happen again. This team takes pride in their defense, and they got humiliated last time out. I don't think they let it happen 2 times in a row.
I was shocked the line was only -6. I believe it should be -9 at least. I'll take a little bit on the Pacers -6 here. I'll probably play 1h under, and Knicks TT under, but I'll wait and see what the line is tomorrow.

Wow, lance is THAT valued? That puts his playoff performance last year in perspective. Wish I knew that in last year's playoffs.
I have a strong hunch who I know you are going to back tomorrow after all that rest and the team owner's name doesn't rhyme with Flames Bowlin'.
They love Lance here. Owners and coaches really are emotionally attached to him at this point because they've put so much time and effort into getting him to grow up, and it looks like they've succeeded. Only problem is if he keeps playing this good, they are looking at having to pony up $8-10 million a year for him. If the Pacers do that, they have to get rid of their entire bench in the off-season. And we know the NBA...if the Pacers don't offer him big money, someone else will.
