Can Hibert stop leaving his man on defense? Jordan can only do one thing on offense that's dunk a ball and Hibert keeps giving him an open lane. He's over helping too much that does not work against CP3.

Agree with you. Pacers are really good at halftime adjustments...credit to Vogel. I bet they figure something out for that situation. That being said, I like what they've done so far. They probably stick with it, but they maybe tell Roy to not help so much on the weak side.

They are just steamrolling teams and completely taking over in 2nd halves.
You think they can beat the 72-10 record?
I am stoked as a fan. I'm a big basketball fan, and I really like the way they play. Clippers made a nice run late in the 4th, and it showed a lot the way the Pacers closed it out. I thought the Clippers played great. Blake played West as hard as he could...CP3 and Deandre looked solid, and still the Pacers got the win.
Do I think the Pacers can push the 72-10 record? It will be close, but I actually think they can get within a couple games. I've looked at their schedule the rest of the year, and what I was looking for was tough back to back games, and I don't see very many. The other thing going for them is that they desperately want the number 1 seed, and if Miami keeps winning, the Pacers won't get complacent. If they stay healthy, they matchup great against most teams except for San Antonio and OKC. Granger is the wildcard. If he contributes, or if they flip him for an elite PG...they absolutely can push the record. No weaknesses on this roster.
Will certainly be intersting to watch though.

Interesting sound bite from Vogel after the game. They asked him why they didn't foul Deandre in the 4th to give him free throws. "We are confident in our ability to get stops"
Says a lot about this team. No gimmicks, no messing around... Just hard nosed defense where every man on the court is held responsible to guard his man. It's a reason I'll be on the Pacers against teams like the Clippers. When it comes down to crunch time, this team has the mental toughness advantage over most teams. Good to have on your side when the line is close to pick em.

Nice quote. Translation? "We are really f'ing good"
I was impressed with the Clips staying in the game but I think they gave it 100% and still came up short. Those late 3s by the Pacers when the home crowd was going into a frenzy were just daggers.
Just very cool and collected.
In my opinion, they dont get as much love spread wise yet because they arent a big market team and its as if Vegas keeps waiting for the other show to drop. Im not sure that it will...but we should probably keep that to ourselves. Ha.
Keep up the inside intel

Have to look a little more into the numbers, but if they keep hanging low totals I'll be on those. Pacers offense has come alive and I'm not sure if the books have caught up. Unders were a trend, but it's moving the other way now. I'd love to see a total around 190. Also, I'd love to see a Pacers TT around 93 for an over play.
As for the side, I'll look at the blazers more tomorrow, but they might be a tad overmatched at some positions. I don't think they have the defense to stop George, Stephenson and Hibbert/West. Initial lean is towards Pacers...especially since Pacers may be the more rested team tomorrow.
Those are initial thoughts... I'll know more tomorrow

Lines are posted an I'm going to be on the over 191. Also will take the Pacers TT over 96, and a little on Pacers -1.5.
Obviously Aldridge will get his points, but Matthews is dealing with some sort of hip issue. I like Lillard a lot, but the Pacers really have done a nice job with perimeter defense. I'm not seeing a ton of depth for the Blazers and they played a late game last night. Pacers are on a back to back, but they got done playing in the early afternoon. They should be rested enough for this game. Blazers seem like they can be inconsistent and give up lots of points at times, these things lead me to like the over and Pacers to close them out.

My opinion is,the blazers have a good matchup versus the pacers.batum is a good defender, maybe he can 't keep george but in my opinion can contain him.the inside is contested, instead with the backcourt i see a blazer superiority. At the end i think this challenge will be decided by % of the blazers by 3 range...i don t know how lillard will do against them...but they have a shot for at this game i think.

No doubt the Blazers have a good team, and I'm sure it will be a good game. Disagree with you a little bit about the backcourt superiority. I've watched every Pacers game this year, and their backcourt has been better than people expect. They aren't elite, but they have held their own, and played good defense against them.
Last night CP3 and Crawford combined for 37 pts, but they went a combined 12-34 from the field, 35%. That's a win for the Pacers. 22 shots that were missed that resulted in probably 20 rebounds for the Pacers. Pacers backcourt isn't going to score 40 pts a game, but they don't have to. Their job is to play good perimeter defense, not turn the ball over, and get the ball to their playmakers.
I agree with you that 3 pt % will decide this game. If Blazers have a good night, they probably win. If they are off Pacers win.

I'm not going to play the 1h Prodigy. I believe the Pacers have turned around their slow starts, so the trend of playing against them is done, and the matchups against these faster paced west coast teams are destroying the value in our 1h under trend.
Current number is 95.5 for first half, and I don't have a strong opinion. Last night the total for first half flew over, but it was deceiving because there were tons of points scored in the last minute of each quarter. Don't think there is a lot of value right now on 1h wagers. However, when they matchup against some lesser quality opponents who have a slower paced offense, I'll be right back on the 1h unders.

Hey Alan. Don't take Okc ....Pacers will be game..even if they are tired. I really feel pg will come out hard that game, and show that he is up there with kd and LeBron. As for tonight...Pacers should cover the 2 as well.

I'm worried about that game big time as a Pacers fan, but looking at it hardcore as a bettor.
For me it's going to depend on how the Pacers are playing, and what the line is.
Schedule: The night before the Pacers are playing late at San Antonio. That mean they will be done with their game Saturday around 11:00. They go to OKC, and get to the hotel around 2 am. Game time at OKC is 7 pm. That's less than 24 hours to physically heal from a tough game.
OKC has the night off on Saturday, and the night before they will be playing at New Orleans (without Anthony Davis). They will be rested, sleeping in their own beds. OKC will have the rest advantage. No doubt KD and George will probably go toe to toe, and Hibbert and West will probably control the paint, but Westbrook and an emerging Reggie Jackson are a nightmare for most teams, but especially against a Pacers team that may be tired. Best case scenario for this game is if the game the night before is a blowout in one direction, and the starters keep their minutes below 27-30 minutes.
Bottom line, I'll need to see the game the night before. Gonna be fun to watch though

Odd first half. Both teams started off ice cold. Then the Pacers took the lead...Blazers made it close late in the 2q.
Biggest takeaway was that the Pacers starters rested and the bench contributed a lot. Scola with 10 pts.
Paul George is hitting his outside shots, and Hibbert is playing offense like he's wearing clown shoes and mickey mouse gloves. (not good).
Aldridge has been the only consistent offense for Portland.
I'm going to put something on Pacers pk 3q.
All starters should be in, and the Pacers starters seemed to control the pace against the Blazers starters. I'm also a believer in halftime adjustments the Pacers make. Portland was inconsistently shooting the ball all half...very streaky. If Portland gets hot, they can take control of the game, but I like what I've seen from the Pacers D. Good D on the 3 pt shots. Other than that no more 2h plays from me tonight. GL

Refs are crazy trigger happy for anyone that drives to the basket which is the one thing pacers don't have is a penetrator. Can't believe they have gone ice cold and blown that 8 point lead.

Brutal loss on my 3q pick. Free throw with 2 sec left. Lost on the pacers pick, but 2 nice wins on the total, and Pacers TT over.
Pacers really had control of this game, but went on a scoring slump, and Blazers got hot (like they can do). Paul George, Lillard, and Aldridge put on a clinic the last 5 min of this game. It was a lot of fun to watch.
If I was a Blazers fan, I feel a little fortunate. Lot of missed opportunites for the Pacers, and Lance had his worse game he will probably have of the year. Blazers fans do have to be happy they have Lillard on their team. He's got some real game, and they big moment didn't scare him. I've always liked his game, and tonight was impressive. Mo Williams was impressive as well. Big minutes from him. As a Pacers fan, it was a tough spot on a back to back, but a very winable game. We had a chance to put them away in the 3rd, but we let them back in it and that's what happens when you don't bury good teams...they come back and beat you. Pacers are going to have to get some more guys scoring than George. Hasn't been a problem most of the year, but this was a bad game for lots of guys.
Next game is in 2 days at Utah. I'll be honest I don't know anything about Utah's roster. I'll have to do some research, but if there's anyone that knows the roster well let me know please.

is there a way we can get 29 other guys to volunteer to do this with the remaining teams?
i used to go on espn message boards , but theyve been permanently closed
paul george is making incredible shots that only reggie miller used to make. too bad he cant kick out like reggie used to and draw a 3 shot foul. they eliminated the reggie rule

Didn't watch the game but I look at the box score and it looks like pacers should've won. They won in assists/rebounds/3pt/fast break PTs... Did they get screwed by the refs or something?? Lol
