Don't see how Stern can veto the trade. Sounded fair in my opinion. The lakers traded arguably their 2nd and 3rd best players for a better #2.
The Hornets (league owned), appeared to have gotten the best of the deal. Houston appears happy, otherwise they never woulda agreed to it.
This trade has to go through eventually. I don't see how Stern can have a good enough explanation to stop it.
They may be their 2 n 3, but he is worth at least two firsts..Almost fair minus a first and third to NO from the lakers. Come on... Gasol is up and down and not a Dominate player, Odom is almost done and busy with the Kardashians. Throw in 2 of the Lakers firsts, which are late pics anyway, and its done.
I can agree with the Cleve. Owner. Things just keep going like this with sports and other things in life. Its true that if they still have room they will land Superman, then what LA vs Miami for the next 5 years.
The league owns NO, that is the only way it happened. Basketball and Baseball are going to ruin their sports.

Lets see the Lakers loose two frontcourt players for one backcourt player...The Rockets gain one of the highly skilled big men in the league and have a full court press on to land Nene...that would be one hell of a frontcourt...The Hornets get enough players back to fill their roster which they only had like 6 players under contract...I could understand if the Lakers were trading Blake and Metta, but it was 2 of their top 5 players for a players
The NBA....It's Sterntastic!!
