Columbian Dyip is a fast paced team who thrive in a fast pace and I doubt they would deviate from their usual formula considering that they're in the hunt for a playoff spot this year. However, Coach Normal Black knows this very well and his game plan will definitely include slowing the pace to a considerable halt (expect their possession to last for 17-24 seconds, and quote me on this as I predict they will start their offense with 10 seconds left on the shotclock). As can be gleaned from the last games, Columbian mightily struggles with slow paced teams so I expect this will be an ugly blowout.
The slow pace will be more pronounced if Black elects to use Anjo Caram as the prominent secondary PG. The only threat to my prediction is if CJ Perez, Rashawn McCarthy decides to play hero ball . Khapri Alston is a non factor in o/u games considering he just follows the pace that Columbian elects to play with.
Meralco 102 - Columbian 85
Why TNT and under?
TNT has historically dominated Ginebra, and this is actually due to a system that is well designed to counter teams with a preference for a strong inside game (See Gin/SMB and how they almost lost to a PG oriented Alaska and a free flowing offense employed by NLEX). this is going to be a grindy game with both teams employing stingy defenses on all 4 quarters.

Did you ready what I typed? I never said that Meralco plays slow, I said that Black would employ a slower pace considering that Columbian thrives in a fast paced game.

Look how meralco starts its offense with 10-12 seconds in the shotclock and see how columbian is so frustrated that they cannot employ their run and gun sets because meralco is extremely quick in their transition defense.
But I think columbian is going to address this issue by the third quarter so i feel that the game would end at around 190-200 points.

My prediction about the scoring was wrong(180+ scoring) but a blowout is still a blowout. Meralco shot horribly in the second and third quarter, fortunately, Columbian shot way worse.
Now let's see if TNT delivers.

come on milk, gin down 15 at the half and then suddenly up 8 in the 4th? a classic pba set up.
Ginebra can definitely win this one, unless TNT plays well and overcomes the refereeing later. If Gin loses, I'll bet big on them next game (unless they give a huge spread which can be set up against the bettors)
