Well, theres a few angles here in play:
I truly feel Rockets glory season was last year...Harden was more an mvp then than he is now...this Rockets squad was cursed from the start with a terrible offseason...their GM really ruined this team with every move he made...this season Harden is just a default stats padder because there isnt anyone else who can legit score more than 15pt consistently in any given game...the league if it has their way, will look for any excuse not to give a guy back to back mvps...if they didnt with Lebron, why would they with Harden? Harden is great offensively, but on an underacheiving team, i think that will shift the focus of the voters towards arguably the best team in the league from start to finish...the Bucks.
Giannis was the -260 fav for the majority of the season once his team started hot, and only since January's hot month for Harden has he fallen to 2nd oddswise...but his game and stats have maintained if not improved, and the Bucks are winning with such ease, they lead the league in point differential in their wins...they are killing teams with 4th Qs...coach Bud has his starters in for significant minutes in the 4th Q even in 15pt leads after the 3rd...this team is still flying under the radar from the mainstream media point of view, because its "Milwaukee"...but anyone who watches them play for 48min will be left blown away with their talent, speed, 3pt shooting, team defense, and when Giannis has the ball something good always seems to happen....plus hes a good rebounder and defender with his wingspan...the guy is legit the most valuable player on his team, a team that before the season, almost no one predicted they would finish with the top record in the league.
If the Bucks finish first overall, Giannis "should" win the mvp...and i believe the Bucks will continue to roll all season long because they are that good.

Maybe i have to hope Harden goes in for a beard trim during the all star break, gets an infection from a dirty razor blade, and misses a full month

Actually its 106,930 total invested overall on Raps to win division...and yes, i dont expect many here to believe it either...and thats ok with me...but it has nothing to do with a gambling issue as you falsely assume

Raps to win division odds have finally updated on b365...its now at -400...a significant jump from -220 as of yesterday...the last 2 Celtics losses may likely have put them out of the race from a momentum standpoint...and i hold pat regarding my stance on the 76ers...they got to prove themselves worthy of all this hype, and i just aint buying the media stirred koolaid

Are you sure?
Every 15k bet nets 10k...so 75k nets 50k (75k wagered to return 125k)

Celtics beating 76ers last night was a gift for anyone sitting on Raps to win the division futures...we now have a full 5 game lead heading down the stretch on both teams...

If you have 22min to spare...Finding Giannis is worth a watch...great story about the classic underdog in life achieving his dreams from hard work, dedication and the love for his family.

How could anyone not like this Malaka (and i use the term in the most enduring way...this kid is exactly what the nba wants the next generation to emulate and aspire to be )...all the more reason voters should give him the mvp over Harden
