I would say as a pure point guard Rondo is the best, then we have CP3 and then Westbrook...We cannot speculate what kind of game Rose will be playing until he is back, I am talking about right now Russell being a top 3 for sure...D-Will kind of fell off in my eyes, maybe because he is just trying to get out of NJ but his season wasnt all that great...

Well then we pretty much agree...Again I don't mention Rose because we don't know yet if he will comeback with the same physical abilities that he had prior to the injury...
This kid is lightning fast thought...In game 1 on one play he went from a complete stop at the 3 point line to running back on defense after scoring a basket in like .5 seconds

LeBron? lol He is probably the best passer at his position but as a pure guard Rondo has it locked...when scoring is involved CP3 and Westbrook should go in there...
D-Will kind of fell off this year I think...
Thunder last night again, opened up by giving a 16 point lead to the Heat...They arent going to win if they keep doing that

cp3, deron williams, rondo, drose, tony parker, and oh yea linsanity!
haha jk about linsanity, but wesbrick cant even crack top 5, let along top 3. sure he has his good days. everyone does. he has his bad days like everyone else. but westbrook will be more known for handcuffing durants progression into superstardom. kd will never fully realize his potential because wesbrick won't let him. if only kd had westbrooks me-first mentality and vice versa. they would be so much better. instead, the no.2 is always out to probe hes more like a 1A and the no.1 is always too careful to hurt wesbrick's feelings and defers.
ive said this before. russell westbrook works out with d rose in the offseason. theyre pretty much the same build. both are athletic freaks of nature. so why is everyone in love with rose and bashing westbrook? rose can do no wrong in chicago and he gets to take all the shots he wants. westbrook feels hes just as good as rose and hes always trying to prove he's better than rose by taking as many shots. only problem is rose doesnt have durantula on his team.

Lefty that's a very interesting perspective...I still think Durant is a superstar already at the age of 23...have you seen the article on espn with Dirk, Kobe and more commenting on Durant...
Dirk said Durant is way ahead of the curb on him and Kobe described Durant as a "6'11 Bryant"
In either case the stats are always limited slightly when superstars are paired up...Look at James and Wade....either one could have led the league in scoring the past couple of seasons if they had the whole offensive burden only on their shoulders...
At the end it is a team sports and I feel that RW and Durant are co-existing pretty well with each other...
In my eyes Westbrook surpassed Parker, Rose is a stand still until we see what shape he gets back from injury in and D-Will I think is faded...

The problem with Westbrook is he is a very poor shooter from the field, 43% carrear ave and 41.9% in the playoffs.
He shot just 37.8% VS Spurs last round and has many very, very poor shooting games, not that great for an explosive player that can get to the rim and finish.

Claw that is definitely true....This guy is what 22-23 though? We have to put that into account when talking about these kids (Durant, Westbrook) because they are dominating the league at a faster pace then anybody ever has, even compared to LeBron...
His shot selection for sure needs work, if you ask me the only flaws in his game at this point are turnovers and shooting %...for a 22 year old, that is not bad at all...

i may be a little biased here because i am a laker / kobe fan. but when its all said and done, durant will not even be in the same class as kobe, accomplishments-wise. durant is not a two-way player. did he play solid d on kobe in the 2nd round? yes. but at this point in kobe's career, any young long wing can stay in front of kobe. and kd is as long as they come. when you think about kd, you're thinking this guy is an offensive scoring machine. no one can guard him. no one is ever thinking, how am i going to be able to score on this kid. to be regarded as one of the best, you have to be the best at both ends. tahts why lebron is the mvp and kd was 2nd. and i truly hate lebum, but even i have to admit he is the better all around player. the fact that kd will not risk upsetting westbrook and demand the ball more means he lacks the killer instinct needed to be at the top of the mountain. if westbrook is shooting 6-22 and durant is shooting 10-16, durant should be screaming for the ball. like i said, if durant had westbrooks mentality, he would be that much better.
yea i read the article about dirk. but dirk also started off slow. same with kobe. durant came in with the green light. his progression is obviously going to be faster. kd benefits greatly from westbrook and harden. how many times do you see kd wide open? kobe wishes he had the looks durant gets.
just my 2 cents...
