I'm going to gamble and take a chance that Scott Foster isn't coincidentally in Toronto for no reason. He started the playoffs in Minnesota getting the Wolves into the playoffs over the Clips. Then he traveled to the West Coast to cement the revitalization of the Warriors 2nd coming hosting Nuggets. Then he short hopped down to Phx to crush his pal CP3 for the 14th time. Then he catches the long flight to Toronto. Is he there to wrap thing up for Philly so they can rest while Heat/Atl go 6 or 7? While Nets/Cs go 6 or 7? I'm betting no, could be wrong but my gut says no. I also think we will see a late scratch of Embiid w/ his injured thumb. Absolutely no reason for 76ers to risk anything when this series is wrapped up and they can close it out at home Monday w/ a few more days of rest for Embiid. I also think after Toronto got banished to Tampa, FL the entire last season the League wants to throw them a bone. Doesn't seem right to me that Raps organization, players and fans endure no home games all last season and it ends w/ a sweep on their home floor, that's not a good story. Lots of moving parts and conjecture in this one but worth the risk w/ the Michael Clayton of the NBA on the whistle.

@dustmiesterLOL, a hurt finger in basketball is the worst fucking pain in ass injury that can happen to a basketball player. Toronto player's can swipe down, slap the shit out of your finger you might get light's out because of the pain.
Scott Foster usally mean's game 5 in Philly with the home crowd

Howzabout does Toronto have pride and talent to win one lousy game. Philly is obviously better. But in the game three to knock out Toronto they needed OT and an amazing shot by Embid to win at the buzzer. Nic Nurse and the fellas have championship pride (at least Fred, Paska and OG) to win one. Harden will waddle like a duck (just kidding). The thumb could be a factor especially if it's on his shooting hand. The Scott Foster stuff is odd. The NBA don't care whether this goes four or five. It's a ratings loser.
I hate betting game 4s. And I've been on Philly the first three. I was impressed with the undermanned Raptors pluck in game three.

did you diagnose Embiid yourself? He’s not even on the injury report dummy. Take a seat and watch a Sixers blowout.

I dont care about the ref it just strikes me aa odd how it looks for all the world like a sweep on the cards yet the line is the same as last game.
Embiid is definitely playing. He literally said to Drake he was coming for the sweep. He's still angry about the last playoff series they lost to the Raps even tho Kawhi is gone

I never understand the logic of people saying oh they will give this team a game and close it out at home.
No you close the team out as soon as you can you never give them a chance. They would rather win this game and then know they can rest until the other series wrap up as opposed to giving them this one game and maybe winning the game five.

Straightwagers, I’m not gonna lie to you. I always thought you were a paid shill. You know with the paragraph write ups just to lose, I made a couple of bucks in the past fading you. But after seeing this thread, unless you are controlled opps. I have been mistaken, you are one of us.

This total is whack. Series opened at 208 and we are off 2 overs. Fitzgerald is a very seasoned senior ref and last 2 seasons 70% of his playoff games go under this # BUT this season he's ref'd 5 playoff games and they've all flown over this #. I think it's time we see a 112-93 type of game.
and yes by one of us you mean degenerate gambler, booze hound and all around swell guy then yes
