Spurs Vs Thunder Series

Question

I have been waiting for this series for awhile now and I will say it now "This will be the be best series of the 2012 Playoffs". These two are the best teams overall in the NBA this year. Spurs have blown out their competition in every series and have the best bench in the NBA. Thunder 2 of the best starters and the 6th man of the year. I give the one advantage they are battle tested. Most of their wins came at the last 2 mins of the game so they know how to close out games. One thing that scares me about the Spurs they are on a crazy winning streak and there is no way the OKC will get swept so how will they respond to a lose? I know they are a veteran with a sprinkle of young talent and a great coach. But in the end I will go with the Thunder as I have a future bet that they would win the title that I put in since the all-star break.

YES---who ever comes out  will be the NBA champs---sixers,cheat,bost,pacers dont have the depth, talent or level to compete with both this TEAMSand i will like the over--both teams play ata  high pace

i admit that okc is not to be underestimated in any way..lots of heart and a very hungry team..however i'm on the spurs and have them for my future to take the west..classic match-up and i don't see a sweep here just some hard ballin' all the way..my final 4 i have..spurs, thunder, celts, pacers

Love both teams, very classy and play solid ball. Will be fun to watch but I think that in the end OKC squeaks it out.

I like both teams also.....Most of my friends hate the Spurs because they are always good and contenders.  I tell them that you hate them because they are not flashy and play basketball the right way as a TEAM.  But I am a huge KD fan and yes whoever wins will win the title.  Whoever wins the series they deserve it and I won&#x27;t be mad or sad.  KD kind of reminds me of MJ.  No I am not talking about the way they play.  Just two small market teams when they got there (Bulls and Thunder) that is waiting to explode like the bulls did.Props for Kobe he did his job too bad the rest of the team didn&#x27;t care.

anyone who has watched the spurs has to appreciate the extrs pass they pass up an open look for a wide open look....i think the young legs and the home crowd of ok city will keep them in it but in the end the veterans of the spurs will prevail....

SAS. One thing OKC lacks is a good post up player. SAS is a more complete team, I think they win this one 4-2. Must be a fun series to watch

I think as the series goes on OKC will start to wear SA down with its youth and size.

I think the biggest question going into this series is being battle tested vs cruising thru series.

OKC has played MANY close games. They are battle tested and have had to execute almost every game down the stretch while SA has not.

Many times in sports you see a team come into a series having cakewalked, but then when they face a really good team thats been hardened by tough games, the battle tested team many times comes out on top.

Perkins and Ibaka will be the key to this series.

Yeah these are clearly THE best 2 teams in the West, and most would argue the NBA.I&#x27;m guessing a spread of -6 for the Spurs opener

I would be stunned if it was that high. My recollection when they played earlier in the reg season at San Antonio the line was Spurs -3. No way it&#x27;s 6 IMO

I agree Billy line will be around 2.5 - 4.5 point spread.  And the books will adjust the lines as the series goes on.  Hopefully the Finals will be as exciting as the Western Finals

Spurs are 8-1 in the last 9 games against Thunder. Only Thunder win came earlier this year without Ginobli in the lineup.

Popovich has until Sunday to figure out how improve his system to stop Thunder. May introduce Hack-a-Ibaka or Hack-a-Perkins...lol...although they are better free throw shooters than Evans and Griffin.
