Is the 1st half over in an NBA game......I dont know why no one here doesnt hit it.....
Just by looking at things, i would be very very shocked if it doesnt hit more than 70%...........hence that is why the odds makers inflate the line......
Some very very easy money to be made going down the drain for people here.......

the reason why the halftime line is always higher than the FG line is because all NBA scoring averages are higher in the 1st two quarters then the last two. Go look it up..its like this for everyteam, this is just the way basketball is played...starts off fast, slows down a bit towards the end.

What about games where u thought the under was a sure lock at half time, then they score 120 points int he second half....

you can name as many examples as you like. In general, in the NBA all teams normally score more points in the first half then they do in the second half, it's the way its is and has always been...go look at the scoring averages for every quarter for every team in the NBA

So what u are saying is this......
The potential for more points in the 1st half of an NBA game exceeds the potential for more points in the second half of an NBA game which has a high possibility for end of 4th qtr intentional fouling + the possibility for OT?

yes, the intentional fouling is part of the game and scoring. As for OT, the oddsmakers don't consider that into the line. overtime games are extremely rare in relation to all games play.

This is the quarterly scoring avg for every single game from every nba team played since the season began according to covers.
50.1-48.7=1.4 so multiply that by two teams...thats basically 3 points. Which is why the 1st half totals will always be slightly higher than 50% of the full game total.
yeah, i know about all those intentional fouls, but according to these numbers all the FTs made have been accounted for in the 4thQ above.
