This is going to blow up in their faces for sure.  First of all, under the NBA constitution it looks like he has no right to do this.  Second, what's the point of opening the entire league up to this liability?  When the market would have definitely rooted sterling out on it's own.  Cmon, nobody will sponsor or play for him.  You dont take 12 million bucks and become a billionaire by being dumb, he would have definitely sold the team eventually.  The recording was probably illegal.....that's kind of a big point.  Had he said this in a public forum im not even sure the NBA has a right to do this.  Now it's like when a superstar wont resign with you, everyone knows you have to trade him so the price goes down.  Same thing will happen with the sale of this franchise....the NFL and NBA are going down

First of all the recording was made public so it is free game. second of all Adam Silver is a lawyer, not saying he wont fight this however he will not win. Everything that went down today is a huge success for the NBA and people like you who defend Sterling should be thrown off covers for life

The recording was made public?  So if the cops bust your door down and find your happy child porn without a warrant I guess since they made it public you get to fry...Idiot

Well I dont think the cops would break down my door without a warrant, and if they have a warrant and saw it its called plain view and you could be charged with it. You dont really need a warrant to use something against someone if its blasted on the internet. 

Why dont you do your little child porn thing and post it to you tube and see if you dont get in trouble

Not in the middle of this discussion but as for your first sentence, you seriously need to wake up my friend. They'll do whatever they want and make it look however they want as they see fit and they work for a seriously crooked and vicious institution.

Like Cuban said.............it's a very slippery slope when you mandate a sale of private property. However it is the owners who are going to force this sale, of which Sterling is a part of obviously. All the owners agreed to the NBA constitution when coming into the league. So basically what Silver did was set the stage for the owners to turn on and eat one of their one. This will be fun to watch now

That is not true. It depends on the state some states are on party states where only one person needs knowledge of the recording and others are two party states where both persons must have knowledge of the recording.

I think the NBA made a major mistake because they have now opened up the fact that if anybody in NBA gets caught doing something like this or saying like this they are banned! Why is it alright for one black player to call another black player a person on the Court? They do it all the time. What happens when someone like Lebron is caught saying that guys is a friggin dumbass person, person, Honkey, person, spick? 

These players are all hippocorates because they all say racial garbage everyday. That is what I believe to be so dumb. 

I don't agree with sterling comments but the NBA needs to be fair. If anybody gets caught doing something like needs to be banned. You know people are going to goat people in public and it will happen, and they should be banned. 

And please ESPN get Stephen A smith off the TV...He is the biggest racist out there.
