Shiit happens in all sports....All the fumbles on the last play of the game or the the team running out the clock breaks a 50 yard TD run when all they had to do was take a knee....I've even had where the team is onside kicking with 30 second left and no timeouts and they return the onside kick for a TD.....Happens in all sports...VARIANCE....You gamble long enough you've seen it all..


Yea I’ve seen a lot back when I started betting nba....what 20 years ago countless college football game mooses and NFL of course but this one has to be my Top moose of all time for me personally....because we are talking about all the probabilities that had to happen getting +8 points. 

Up 117-111 with 1minute left.....Miami 3 hawks miss Miami 3 hawks miss Miami miss and no fouls that could have changed the probability in all that action in 1 minute of action it all played out Exactly how it had to in order to a Must have OT and doing all this going on a 22-0 run for hawks backers getting +8....getting +8 in an overtime in an NBA the odds must have been extremely good if you compare it to other sports in OT. It’s like getting 10 points in the NFL going into OT. Just another example how OT I’m the NBA can truly fu.ck you over

This game is not even considered a big moose...When u think about it... a home team covering the 8.5 in OT...What happens in regulation stay in regulation...They were up 6 with a minute to go but Miami made a 3 with 55 seconds.. so it was basically a 3 point game or 1 possession and it went into OT. Now if the fill game spread was -13.5 and they covered the full game line -13.5 and won by 14 like they did.. Then that is a big time moose...

Like another poster mentioned..Hawks did the exact same thing vs Portland in the beginning of the season....Line was -8.5 and Hawks were up 5-6 with a minute to go and it went into OT and Portland won by 9 points...

My point is in the NBA you are subjected to getting fucked on the river no matter how many points you got teased up on an underdog...because a team could go 30-0 in OT and you lose but NFL if you have it teased at decent number you are still 100% to win even if it goes to OT.....

If you think this is a big moose...you hav into gambles long enough....A big moose is if a team is leading the entire game up big getting a ton of points...Not even close..In fact Heat was up 10 in the 3rd...game was back and forth and tied and END of regulation...It was a 3 point game with 55 seconds.. Went into OT and they covered the 8.5 spread...

In hockey earlier this year.  St. Louis blues up 3-1 or 3-0 some chit like that with 5 mins left in the third.  Hockey is like soccer where points are hard to come by.  I needed them to win on the ml to hit a nice parlay.  In 5 minutes, the other team tied it up, went into ot n whooped St. Blues.  That was my last NHL bet since.  Whenever I see them blues be playing, they be winning which made me jelly even more.  

 

You are betting on the hawks here.  If anything, stop backing them up and play other teams.   No need to quit just because you caught a funk.  

By tomorrow,  you will forget all about it cuz more games are going to take precedence.  You are not a gambler if you never gone through these variances in sports.  Get enough beat to be immune by it.

I have gambled for 15 years now...I have had these mooses probably over 100 times if not more...I have been on the opposite side and won about equal times as well...

This game made me realize why I personally cannot bet on this sport compared to the NFL simply the way OT is played....again if you invested in a dog at +10 by backing the original line or teasing it you have 100% win in OT after watching 3 hours of football...

NBA no matter wtf happens in regulation when it goes to OT....the under dog you invested in is subject to lose regardless of how many points you have...Not a sport I’m gonna wager on anymore with that element in play

Dubs vs Lakers last month...181 point thru 3 quarters...Total on the game was 219....Scored 34 points in the 4th....Was it a moose on the over yes..But this stuff happens more often than you think...
