Depeche talk me down from the ledge bro, talk some sense into me..
Just look at how good the Bulls have been at home since they reshaped their team. They lost on a late Kobe comeback and IMO tanked the final game. Then they won the other 14 including wins over 8 different playoff teams. The house is going to be rocking and the Bulls will get many more open court points than they did in Boston. They will also likely get a call or two which they didn't in Boston.

Bator- I think you are overthinking this whole thing in a BIG way. Let me ask you this: Why would the Bulls let up now and feel like they are the favorite??? They are still playing the defending champs- they still thought they should have won Game 2, they still had Garnett spewing punk-talk to them as they walked off the court, and they still ARE HEADING BACK HOME tonight to play in front of a huge crowd that believes in their young team. Confidence breeds good performance, and the young Bulls are swimming in it right now. The Celtics, on the other hand, are the ones that have to be thinking "This just ain't our year" with all the injuries, the loss of their best player, and the way the Bulls have stood toe-to-toe with them in the series. Deep down, they know they can't compete with the Cavs right now (and don't tell me that isn't in their heads also).
It all boils down to this: Would you rather be the young overconfident team that smells blood right now or the older injured team that has won recently but is having doubts about this season?
I know where my will be.

Well, yeah, but the Blazers were tearing it up on their home court, too, at the end of the season, and then came their first playoff game, complete with high expectations, and it all went to shit. I rode the Bulls a bunch of times, too, down the stretch, and I'm grateful to them, but I still see somethin' bad brewin' here. Like I said, with this much doubt, better for me to not be involved.

Both good questions, which leads to a third option. Sitting this one out.

The over is the easiest play on the board by far. Bulls have been scoring close to 110 a game at home over the past month. Plus they play no D. Look for alot of running by the Bulls and lots of fouls called. Perfect recipe for that over. So stop arguing over sides and take that over. I'll be getting a free big mac tonight and give it to a homeless person.

I think you are just way too excited about the baptisim that you are not thinking straight...
Damn you! This is a horrible day to be pulled away from what I'm normally doing. Hmm......should I just ditch my sister and her twins? I'm sure she'll forgive me in about 15 years or so.

My sister just called me and I asked her how important it was that I be at this baptism class or dress rehearsal whatever thingy. She didn't say anything, but I think I heard a low growl.

Thanks for sharing you're hedge, Mr. B. You're not planning on backing out of Utah as well, are you?

heres the way I see it... the cavs, lakers and celtics have a combined 193-56 on the season... which comes out to a .785 winning %.. all 3 had 60+ win seasons and boston played without garnett for quite a few games (25)... therefore when either of those 3 teams are getting points or only basically have to win the game.. im going to take my 78.5% chance on winning.
also kevin garnett is an over killer.. when he is out they play more run and gun.. 90 points with garnett. 99 without garnett

Okay, I have the Bulls -2 -110. If I choose to, I could go to Matchbook right now and take Boston +2 +116. I also have the Bulls ML -130. At Matchbook, if I want to get rid of that, I could simply bet Boston ML +140.
BATOR by buying off your bet.

Bator, you're thinking too much about this Bulls game. The Bulls are a 7 seed. They are not going to get cocky and overlook the Celtics because of Leon Powe. I don't think Chicago is the square play at all. A lot of people still see Boston as the champs and think they won't go down to a 7 seed. Ray Allen is not likely to have a good game again. He usually plays horrible but game two was an exception. If Rondo isn't 100% then this game is done because Marbury is total crap. Pierce won't get all the ridiculous foul calls for his flailing and other non sense because he's on the road. Don't forget even the champs last year couldn't win a road playoff game until the Conference Finals.

I meant by burning money by buying off his bet because he's throwing his winnings away on chicago. I would jus keep the chicago bets.
If I had to the opportuntiy to hang out all day today on Covers right up until gametime, I'm pretty sure I'd not only be off of Chicago, but ON Boston after reading just a few more posts like this one.

Chicago came into the playoffs saying they were going to prove people wrong. All these injurys are just blood in the water for chicago. Chi is my pick. This team is to young not to be hungry for a win. expecially with Rose leading the way.

Thanks once again to my dear family, who never seem to miss an opportunity to pull me away from a glorious winner. That completely WORTHLESS baptism class cost me at least ten thousand dollars.
