the celtics will certainly win 1 of the next 2 games in chicago and i think it will be game 3
things will be tied at 2-2 then people will re-evaluate
 
people seem to forget the C's still have paul pierce (no deng to match him up) he is gonna go off bigtime
 
bulls defense in still crap as rondo runs rings around all the bulls and rayray shoots lights out
 
the bulls have improved since the trade however they are to reliant on the jump shot
 
most gamblers see -2.5(bulls) or -1.5 on the lakers so they will back them (public money that is)
not me i go by who i think will win and then by how much

yeah not sure if I can see the cetls go down 2-1. It could happen but I think the experience will come through. Small play on celts ml

I like the post about the Celtics man, I still think they win the series and definitely one of these two in Chicago.  But to say the Lakers isnt a good bet is crazy.  Yea the Jazz are good at home but did anyone watch them lose a home game they needed to win to a depleted GS team a couple weeks ago.  The Jazz are playing their worst basketball at the worst time.  Possibly Okur to the rescue tonight.

Stockton614, hold off on your teaching lesson because that injury report is not secret information.  Everybody knows just how badly the Celtics are banged up and it's leading a lot of people to write them off because of it.  I took Chicago -2 -110 and ML -130 yesterday morning but I may have to dump my action because the Bulls are fast becoming the "obvious" side.  Depleted as they are, the Celtics can win tonight if the Bulls make the same mistake of underestimating them (as Bulls backers have already done).

That's what I'm talking about. The injury report is a huge factor when wagering on games, to not take that into consideration is a mistake. Celtics are dropping like the punk ass bitches that they are. To get a miracle 3 from Ray Allen every game is asking alot. And Paul Pierce is a scrub who will cry and moan that "we didn't have (sniff) KG (sniffle) and not having our best players (whaaaah) really hurt us (boohoo). Bitch.

mrbator, nuggets were the obvious side last night, i don't like the high public action on the bulls either but i think i'm let my bet ride out.

b. scalabrine might be playing tonight, i read, he did a few shoot arounds and doc rivers said he looked good.

i'm have to stay with the bulls,
i hope the baby bulls don't get over confident,
but from what they've shown me the last few games - i think they are are playing to win and with a lot of heart.

Wow- don't agree with the post about Bulls bettors being sucked in AT ALL.  The Celts gave everything they had in Game 2 after losing the first one at home and needed a Ray Allen 3 to win it.  No Powe+2 foul-proned bigs in Davis and Perkins+Mikki Moore only reserve big left= LOTS of trouble.  Pierce doesn't seem to have it.  Allen won't shoot like he did in Game 2 probably the rest of the series.  The ONLY one that is going to give the Bulls trouble is Rondo, and Rose basically negates him.
Chicago TOO athletic, TOO deep right now with Hinrich and Miller playing well off the bench, and TOO hungry for the Celts (someone wake Paul Pierce up and tell him they are fighting for their lives here).  They are hot and the Celts are deflated right now from the injuries.  Chicago wins this series (probably in 6).

Scalabrine hasn't played in two months.  I'm skeptical on how effective he can be after the long layoff coming into a hostile road playoff atmosphere against an athletic team.  Reeks of desperation.  Probably because Boston is desperate.  Why don't they play Bill Walker?  In college I thought he'd become a good NBA player.

Vegas is giving the Celtics a lot of respect as they are the defending champs.  They had to cover 9 pts. in game 2 and they barely won the game.  If Big Baby or Perkins gets in foul trouble, very likely verus the active Noah, then the Celtics are in trouble because Mikki Moore is not the same player he was in New Jersey 3-4 years ago.  I'll admit, Big baby is playing well and shooting well.  But, how will Rando's bum ankle do against the aggressive Rose playing in his 1st ever play-off game in his home city?

The Bulls have to be coming into this game with the most confidence in the world. Not only did they steal one on the road but they damn near took both games. These guys will be so excited to come home and play in front of their fans especially fans who know their team can win!!

I'm taking the Bulls unless someone talks me out of it...Public team or not the Bulls win the game!!!

Okay, I have the Bulls -2 -110.  If I choose to, I could go to Matchbook right now and take Boston +2 +116.  I also have the Bulls ML -130.  At Matchbook, if I want to get rid of that, I could simply bet Boston ML +140.
