Well guys, this was as easy as it will ever get. Like the Lakers last night, NY never had a shot. Nice to be on the other side of those.
Thanks for all the well wishes. I'd respond to all individually but it'll take 45 minutes for just beer taps and handshakes.
@life_a_gamble - Yes, the Knicks are my specialty. 80% hit-rate in games involving them last year and a nice start this year. Why do I pick other teams? Because it sharpens my Knicks picks. It's harder to pick those other teams so when I come back to the Knicks, I see things in a much clearer light with the team I know for 26 years as a fan.
@BB - Off? That's being kind. BB, I have absolutely no idea how the books took exposure at 4 (although the line didn't move all day so maybe the action was balanced on each side).
Who cares about the Celtics when the Heat came through in spades (as did the Wolves at +8!). Great thread you wrote. Now I just have to find it to bump it.
To everyone else and all the familiar faces

Melos, I know what you are saying. I won't have time for another write-up but the Knicks looked absolutely lost on offense, standing around waiting for others to rotate, morphing back to the woeful ISO-Melo game that destroyed last season for them. They have no idea what they are doing at the moment. Given it was against one of the best teams in the league but now they play one of, if not the, best team in the league.
On a B2B against the greatest player on the planet....
I don't think I've laid 12.5 in 6 years though. The thing is, I was really looking to fade the Cavs early this year similar to when Lebron came to the Heat.
In Game 1 of Lebron's first Heat game, they lost 88-80 as -1 pt favorites to Boston. But that was the Boston team with PP, Garnett Allen and all the other good role players on the road. This game is at home against...the Knicks, in Lebron's return as a savior. Interestingly, the Heat strung off 4 wins in a row in 2010 against their next 4 against @Philly, Orlando, @Nets, Minny before they struggled again, getting fat and happy off bad Eastern Conference teams.
It will be very interesting tonight as the Knicks LOVE to play Lebron the most and have some surprising regular season success against him with some very poor rosters, but man, some big changes will have to made or the offense will have to be simplified immensely in 24 hours or this will get ugly very fast.
It's very hard to gauge after a single game and I wouldn't be far off by saying this may be the biggest publicly bet game of the year and, newflash, the public will not be on the Knicks.

The Knicks looked worse than the Lakers in Game 1 (was that even possible?) and the Lakers, needing major adjustments, went to Phoenix and got bashed last night in their own B2B by 20. Good lord...
