49ERS VS PATRIOTS: POUND IT EARLY

All this love for the defense of the 49ers is great but one thing people have to consider that NE has played defenses like the 49ers before...i.e. Ravens, Giants, and Pitt defense. They have all scored more than 21 points. I think the key here is undermining the Pats defense. Will they shut out the 49ers? I don't think the niners score more 10 on offense. If we have a clean game this game will be 24-10 NE. If NE forces TO's then this could turn into a something different.

NE doesn't give up points...The may give up yards but they make the offense earn it. Please believe that game last night is over for them and they are gearing up for the 49ers. They see what what we see...going against a good defense....and they will have a game plan for them. Ridley and vereen, bolden will have their cut out for them to eliminate the smith brothers any over pursue they will get gash o the run and quick passes on the flat.

Kaep- NE defense will confuse this 2nd year player. He hasn't seen a versatile defense as NE employs. Prime example last night from a veteran QB thought he had a td in the middle only to picked off by a rangy McCourty. Also, they have played with the likes of Kaep before in Vick and Aaron Rodgers who can take off from the pocket. He will not be safe against spike and mayo or chung if they get a lick on him when running to send him a message.

I don't see this as a blow out but an old fashion battle of the trenches and who's running game is better and who's QB plays is better at the line of scrimmage.

Still in the confines of Foxboro and a nasty weather....NE 24-10.

On a side note: Met Frank Gore at a bar last night and I shook his hand. Man, he is about 5'7 he didn't even look like a fb player. lol

IM SURE THE HARBAUGH BROTHERS HAVE DISCUSSED THE PATRIOT OFFENSE. THE KEY WILL BE STOPPING WELKER AND THAT WON'T BE EASY. EXPECT PRESSURE UP THE MIDDLE. ONCE YOU GET BRADY OUTSIDE THE POCKET HIS MOBILITY BECOMES AN ISSUE.

KAEPERNICK ON THE OTHERHAND WILL BE THE WILDCARD HERE. EXPECT HIM TO TAKE OFF AND GOOD LUCK CATCHING HIM. EVERYONE PILING ON THE PATS AFTER LAST NIGHTS PERFORMANCE. Brady is crap & always will be a simple product of Belicheck's coaching - if Drew Bledsoe didn't get hurt HE would still be the starter & Brady would have been run out of the league already - SO STOP SUCKING HIS COCK!

wow I am a big patriot fan, why does everyone think this is an easy victory, San Fran is a much better team than Houston especially defensively, the zebras give NE two real big calls last night, especially the long pass interference that was a mile over receivers head, I believe NE will win but it is going to be a very tight ball game, Houston was exused there games on road, they just rolled up tent after going 21 down, Last nights game should of never gone over, i always bet over, never had a gift given to me like last night, vagas nust of had a heart attack, attempted paass from where they were.

Patriots -6 all day long.

Thought Houston had a team...obviously thay don't.

Patriots Defense has risen, just as they did last year, Forget about the begining of the year..The Defense is clicking. Kap will have big problems with Patriots Defense......

The only team that matches with the Patriots are the G-Men.

Mostly agree, but I don't think SF D "is like" any other D. Nobody else has the inside combo of Willis/Bowman and outside combo of the Smiths..

It's too easy to assume NE will continue from last night's game, too easy to assume they'll be the Dec home monsters of late, etc..

This is a no BRAINER

I wasn't go to say why, but since you mentioned it....here it goes... excluding 2008 when he was injured and including Monday Night's clinching of the Lombardi Trophy against the Texans, the Tom Brady led Patriots are an astounding 5-7 ATS at home in the month of December.

So, to answer your question WHY IN THE WORLD I would bet against Tom Brady and the Pats at home in December, it's because if you bet against them in this amazing situation everytime the last 7 seasons, you would be UP money.
