Coaching staffs matter hugely. New England went to seven Super Bowls and won five of them since 2002 for a solid reason, Bill Belichick and his staffs.

Pretty quiet in this thread this morning? Just curious what happened to your Falcons? I think its called choking? You like coming into others threads after they lose and you win so how does a nice 3-8 feel to finish the year?

i wouldnt call the Pats WR corp mediocre.. Brady would not be able to do it himself without his cast. this group is much better than what he had during the beginning of his career and better  than what he had in their super bowl win couple years ago.

Edelman is clearly much better than Wes Welker.
Bennett is no Gronk, but a proven NFL tight end.
Hogan is a good under-the-radar reciever from the Bills.
Amendola comes up big in key moments
Malcolm Mitchell is clearly better than the rookies recievers they had in the last few years..Aaron Dobson anyone?

they needed Gronk to beat the Seahawks and the fact they didnt need Gronk to beat the Falcons is a sign their recieving group is much improved

ok yes they are underrated...but theyre not the WR corp ATL has. all these players you mentioned are 2nd tier players. except for edelman i guess..malcolm mitchell is good but i dont think hes scratched the surface yet...im just saying he doesnt have like a dez bryant/julio jones/calvin johnson etc etc...hes had better WR corps in the past. u cant really compare edelman and welker..obviously id take edelman but welker is just a slot wr.

i feel like most of these players are part of the "system." players like james white, amendola, and hogan (MAYBE edelman, prob not) wouldn't have the same success on other teams as they did on the patriots
