Aikman and Buck , SUCK

THESE 2 are by FAR the WORST in my opinion ...

I'd rather listen to my wife's friends complain about Bravo's reality TV shows..

Constantly Stating the obvious 

Missing flags 

Rarely add anything remotely intelligent or informative to the broadcast 

Both are bad, but Aikman is the worst. Case in point - that missed false start a minute ago. Buck for once called it correctly (because the players on the field were arguing their case), then 10 seconds later Aikman says "Looks like Graham was moving a little bit early there".

Seriously, is Aikman all there upstairs?

Aikman has brain damage. He got the shit pummled out of him in Dallas. Sacked 12 times in one game

So many pauses /dead air ...Almost like someone is telling them what to say or they need a few seconds to think about what they want to say after the next play 

Aikman one of the greatest QBs,  but one of the WORST Announcers of all time.  HE SUCKS,  ALways has.

Aikman was real lucky in the NFL ,playing behind one of the Greatest O Lines ever , Emmit Smith, Irvin ,Harper , Moose and Novacek...

DEFENSE was loaded with talent as well...

I think they're FANTASTIC!!!

Everyone loves Romo but hes kind of stilted to me, does know the game and is enthusiastic so I admire his efforts

 Not always. And back then they drove the qbs head into the ground no big deal. Concussion protocol was unnecessary. 

I'll take those 2 over anyone ESPN has.  Which is NOT saying much.  

IMO, Buck can make anything boring. But there are almost no good announcers left.   I bet the World Series would have had 10% better ratings if they had a decent announcer.

I miss Dick Enberg and Merlin Olsen and many others before them...even Hank Stram and Jack Ham on the radio were far superior to Aikman and Buck.

Aikman as QB was a part of a great Dallas team when he played, without his supporting cast, he would be second rate. He was an excellent game manager for Jimmy Johnson.

Theyll put anyone in the booth on ESPN ...

Aikman took a ton of shots his first 2 season , after that he played behind one the best O lines ever.  

CTE is HORRIBLE , Not sure if he has it though 

Buck talks so Slow and speaks in a library tone ...

Absolutely agree ..I actually turn off the sound during baseball and play music for 7 of 9 innings of his MLB games.

I'll never forget meeting him when I worked in room service..He was just getting in his room when I brought his food ..Went to wash his hands before and noticed someone's dookie in the toilet ..He immediately called the front desk and said in his announcer voice " Hello , There is a Giant piece of Crap in my toilet ..Please move me to another room , any room is fine"  He then handed me a $20 on top of the mandatory 18% ..Made jokes and laughed about everything.. talked about how much he loved the food in Buffalo .

Neil O Donnell and Rex Grossman would have won the same amount of SUPERBOWLS if they replaced Aikman on that Dynasty COWBOYS squad ..

I used to dislike Buck and Aikman but now I enjoy them much more. This is because far too many commentators doing games now are just terrible. They aren’t perfect but they are pretty decent and now that they have done it so long in my view they are much improved from say 10 years ago when I really couldn’t stand either and Joe Buck especially. 

Right now I cannot stand the Monday Night Football guys. The only one I think ever points anything out is Louis Riddick but he’s still raw at commentating games. Meanwhile Levy and Griese seem like they should just stay college commentators as neither of their styles suits the NFL. ESPN can do better it’s a shame what they’ve done to MNF. 

How bout when Aikman was saying how the challenge on the Hyde fumble was going to cost Zona. That was one rare case where the challenge made sense even if small shot Zona would have gotten the fumble recovery call bc they would have used a timeout anyway to stop the clock on that run. If not the clock would have went to 2 min warning 

how did aikman not realize that?

Joe Buck is what you get when you cut off Joe Dirt's mullet.

I mute the volume when these two are paired. I can't sand diarrhea of the mouth.

Those Cowboys teams are in my top 5 of all time...That offensive line dominated the line of scrimmage ..Emmitt was amazing  at hitting the gaping holes.. When all 11 players were doing their jobs they were unstoppable..I'll put the O Line up against any defense from any era and theyll move the chains...

.I'd make those 92-93 Cowboys teams a 10-13 point favorite of this years or lasts Chiefs squad ( with today's rules ) .Maybe a 21+;point favorite with the early 90-'s rules
