Wow.  That is horrible.  Thoughts and prayers to the child's family.  How in the fuck does Brit Reid do this?  He finally turned his life around before ending up like his brother.  This is fucked.  smh...

I bothered to read one of your posts and now my brain is disintegrating. What an idiot you are. This is not a galvanizing moment, like when Dungy’s son committed suicide in 2006 and the Colts went on to win one for coach. This is a Greek tragedy!! Winning one for the coach is meaningless because his son was not a victim of anything but maybe bad parenting. God the idiots on this forum.

I think the only way the NFL allows the Chiefs to win this is if Andy recuses himself to be with his family during this tragedy and allows Bieniemy to coach the team! I mean how does Andy even justify standing on the sidelines on Sunday?! It will be a joke. 

How will he be allowed to coach this game?! “My son is in jail for possible vehicular manslaughter and drunk driving but I think coaching this game is more important?!” He will look like a callous douchebag!

After reading this , I figure there is not much hope of Reid staying off the sidelines:

The crash occurred two days before the Chiefs are set to travel to Tampa, Florida, to take part in Super Bowl LV. According to ESPN’s Dianna Russini, Reid remains in the hospital with undisclosed injuries and could remain there for days. He will reportedly not make the trip with his team to Tampa on Saturday.

Officers reportedly collected vials of blood from Reid and will test it for “blood alcohol content and/or the presence of controlled substances,” per the crash report. The report also notes Reid has had “multiple prior DUI contacts.”

As of Friday night, Kansas City police told Russini that no charges have been filed against Reid, but he is under investigation for drive impairment. Any charges would reportedly come after the Super Bowl due to the time it takes for blood toxicology results.

His f’n dad (Andy Reid) was coaching while he was overdosing on drugs in the same god damn facility. And this guy is now going to stand on the sidelines while his other son is in jail facing likely charges?! And the NFL is going to give this guy a trophy after the game for being a great coach but an awful father?! 

Not sure if Its comparable though. This is indeed the SB and Mahomes wants to win. I can see a scenario where Tampa holds a halftime lead and we’re in for a barn burner in the 2H.
