Stop wasting your time believing media. You don't have a fucking Chance in hell of proving it happened. You know very little about the real world.
Um...based in what? You're babbling contradictiry nonsense.

Agree with everything all the rational folks here have said about this tragedy for the family with the little children.
And, of course, it's a tragedy for Andy Reid and his family...but do we know whether Andy and his wife tried to help Britt (and Garrett)? I don't, but pretty sure they tried a lot of things (rehab, counseling, outpatient support) to make them see how destructive their choices were.
It seems like Andy tried to help his tragic sons...having them with him in camp and around the team...but the guy has a right to his own life, too...and his wife has a right to enjoy here life with the man she married. Once the "kids" become grown men, the responsibility for good choices in life falls on their shoulders. This is the pinnacle of pro football for Andy, his wife, and his family. How is it "the right thing to do" to not let him coach, and to force him to stay in KC. What can he do, sit at Britt's bedside and stare at the TV or the cop outside the hospital room door? Britt sure as hell doesn't want his father there.
The Chiefs organization can do best for the family with the young children, the Reid family, the KC community, and Chiefs nation by speaking rationally and from the heart and saying they stand behind their coach and pray for a good outcome to all this tragedy. My only disqualifier to what I'm saying here would be if the young 5 year-old's injuries result in the worst news possible. Then Andy should stay away. Just my opinion.

No doubt. But when have the chickens come home to roost like this?! I venture to guess, never. This is the worst possible time! That’s my point.

@chic-cardinals
I am truly concerned for you. Where/when in life have you been so jaded to completely disassociate with reality?
Abuse comes in many forms, and it is ugly, and painful. I hope you weren't a victim at any point.
The REALITY of the story which I posted about, is that a father's daughter is in the hospital fighting for her life.

I agree, horrible timing. Mentally, Andy is going to be a mess I would think. Unless he can compartmentalize this somehow till Monday.

Well thought out, articulate response. I disagree on some points, but your argument is valid. He is not necessarily responsible for the sins of his children, but optics still matter. I think the child being in critical condition is bad enough. He/she doesn’t need to die for Andy to do the right thing here.
Btw, this will be the second SB where Tampa has gotten a huge break with tragedy befalling their opponent on the eve of the SB. Remember the Raider’s center?!

Amen mah man my heart and prays go out to Andy and his family a very sad & unfortunate tragedy indeed.
The timing of this incident couldn’t come at a worse time.
And you chic-cardinal day in & day out are a annoying and disgusting & disrespectful specimen of a human being mah man.
The comments you spew out daily here in the forum are getting tiresome to say the least

Lol did Favre not play when dad died?
That Baltimore WR when his kid or brother died?
Plenty more examples.
These kids aren't reported dead. Just a bunch of *reported/alledged* comments. Nothing proven or concrete.
Didn't that LSU coach lose a Daughter in law? Ok , that was 2 weeks before. Should 2 weeks matter? They won Nat Champ.
Same old dramatic stuff.

You poor baby. Can't handle reality.
Thousands of people are dealing with tragedy...real tragedy. I'm not wasting my emotional energy on a stranger thousands of miles away. For something I know is incredibly suspicious.
You see,in an emergency, I'd be the better leader. I'd be the better investigator. I don't get emotional for stuff I'm not involved in first hand.

A little girl fighting for her life in a hospital on a seemingly innocuous night otherwise, isn’t a “real” tragedy?

You missed the point entirely because you think with emotion.
Thousands have died over the last 24 hours. And you need to care about jocks, coach family for life browny points? Because the news told you? No one has died here. And Theres no proof it's real.

I can see that. But this game has become even more impossible to cap than before. What precedent do we have for something like this? The son of the head coach, an assistant no less, involved in drunk vehicular child-slaughter (if the kid dies)? Before the eve of the biggest game? It’s Tampa or nothing, IMO. But anything can happen. Just a totally unpredictable situation, capping wise.

That’s what I mean. There is no telling. But I think rallying around the father of a possible child-killer will be pretty hard.

This is ridiculous... For KC to be in the Super Bowl and Andy Reid's son in an accident drunk and high on pills? Potentially life threatening condition for a child! This is sad... I have no urge to cheer on KC on Sunday. I want them to lose... KC doesn't deserve the Super Bowl while their coaching staff is high on pills and impaired? The NFL will not allow KC to be in the spotlight... My prayers and thoughts are with the family involved.. my heart breaks...
Screw KC.. Horrible organization with zero discipline in the integrity of their coaches and staff.. I don't care what people say KC is held to a higher standard due to who they are. Brady will win the Super Bowl.. I don't want to see KC win at all... Horrible judgement in hiring their staff...
If KC wins this.. the NFL will have a big black eye that the winning Super Bowl team coaching staff was drunk and high 2 days before and god forbid i hope the kid doesnt die....
I'm angry at the judgement of the KC staff and their discipline.. I understand addiction is scary however this is wrong and they will not allow a Billion Dollar League fail and this will take the spotlight if KC wins! This will smear the NFL image if KC wins! Mahomes winning wont matter when one of the coach potentially in a accident high and killed a kid....

Why hire his son knowing he is a risk? also why is someone blaming Andy Reid.. the way i see it.. if the son really loved his Dad he wouldnt fuck up his career by his selfishness getting high while your Dad gave you an NFL job because you would be useless in the real World... This is sad.. i dont want to see KC win!!!

There is no excuse for being high on pills and drunk and driving.. i dont care what you say.. his selfishness now potentially ruins an innocent family... you standing up for this saying its a tragedy is ridiculous. andy reid knows his son and he obviously knows he has problem.. poor judgment and now it fucked up the whole super bowl for KC. The son is selfish your Dad is working and your getting high... lmao.. a joke of an organization... Mahomes wont win this year... the coaches on the team will have bad PR
