I kinda agree... they needed the TD.  He has to know that their defense is basically $hit and Peyton could not play for a FG on that final drive.  Plenty of opportunties to get the TD but he passed on it played for the FG.  Part of the blame is on him and Caldwell for the horrible play calling.

As a Colts fan i wish Manning would go somewhere else.  He doesnt deserve this crap.  Pollian is an idiot.  Caldwell has no business being a head coach in the NFL.  Pollian drafts first round Jerry Hughes.  Hmmm. The 2 positions we are set at are DE and QB.  How about surrounding him with an offensive line and some young WRs with speed.  Wayne is good but getting old.  Plus for the last tn yrs we have sucked at punt/kick coverage and returns.  He could probably had a better chance with the Panthers.

yes the cotls should have score a touchdown......did manning rough the punter, did manning not make the tackle on special team, manning not stop the jets on defense.....it is amazing how everyone wants to blame one person for the loss. 

kyle orton did do this, peyton manning sucks, drew brees did not do this................man it is a team sport, one person does not win, it is a team win or loss.................get over it people

9-10 record in the playoffs

the only year he won the SB he had his worst post-season

last year he pretty much cost them the win with a costly pick

he is one of the best but not the best that is for sure

They have drafted very well to blame them not having recievers is bieng an idiot.  Before the season they were 4 deep at WR and 3 deep at tight end.  They did not need to draft a WR they could not have seen both Gonzo and Collie going down along with Clark.  Hughes was a good pick but will take some time to develope.  In the Super Bowl they lost because Freeney was hurt and they couldn't get pressure on Brees plus they lost Brock so they needed depth at that position.

just like the better goalie in hockey beats the better team

in ONE game, ONE player is certainly enough to win a game. he cannot be blamed for that one loss, but if he is losing more than he is winning than maybe he is not as good as people think

The Jets went into halftime and made the proper adjustments on offense and controled the clock with long drives and kept Manning off the field for most of the half hell what did the Colts have the balll for n the 2nd half 7 min maybe
