I've read 2 threads tonight by obvious homers trying to convince us that their team is the best. Please knock it off already.

Raiders are a decent team and will give the Chicago offense fits when they stack the box and take away the run. 

Chicken or not, you don't even know the name of your backup but he's so good. Please.

I'm a Bears fan and will say that BEFORE Cutler got hurt I had this game circled as a potential loss. Hanie won't be terrible overall filling in for Jay for the final 6 games, but this game will likely be one of his toughest. Raiders will throw a lot of blitz packages at him I believe and try to fluster the young QB. I look for the Bears to be fairly conservative(kind of like the old/early Grossman days) with short passes and lots of runs. I personally think the Raiders win this game somewhere between 4-10 pts but agree with KILLER B that the under is the play here. Forte and Barber should see 30 carries combined if not more which will chew up a lot of clock. Only thing pushing this one over is INT returns for TD or if Hester returns a couple. Just my two cents

How and Why? Because I know what teams and players are like. I have the instincts. They may not be right 20% of the time but I got 80% to ride shotgun with.

It was Palmer's first full game 300+ 3 TDs and 3 int. Only two weeks in camp coming off the couch.  Next week in SD 299 2 TDs and 1 int. Waiting for a healthy Mc Fadden & Bush running the rock because his numbers will only improve.

Spooker is a homer but he may be right about this game, he is def wrong about the Denver game though, San Diego will win by 20+ and he should be about a 45% capper just losing enough to keep betting, enough to pay his bills but always be broke, he makes the world go round.

I am a 45% capper on the stock market. I'm a 75% capper on NFL. You watch. On my record it will show.

Anyways, I have lots of money to play with and sometimes I will bet money lines for the better-than-bank interest plays.

For instance

$2500 on Atlanta on ML
$1000 on Bengals on ML
$1000 on Jets on ML
$1000 on Texans on ML

So just coz I don't get a spread don't mean I don't win.

FYI - Bears get it done. I take the ML here for $1000

I laugh at all the Bears fans and their logic on this post, I am not a fan of either team but the Raiders ground game will be punish the bears d Bush is a beast of a rb, they will tire out the bears in a hurry, Peppers is shit against the run and to say Palmer is garbage take a look at his game management the last 2 games pretty impressive for a guy whose been out that long. Raiders won the last 2 games with a totall of 22 penalties. Raiders will win this game no problem. Where would the Bears be without Forte, The Raiders are winning with out 60 percent of there totall offense out with a injurry McFadden, enough said

As far as the actual game goes, I think Raiders win & cover but don't believe it will be a run-away. The Bears situation this week reminds me of the Raiders Situation a few weeks back when they got embarrassed by the Chiefs. The Raiders were playing well & then loose their QB. The follwing week the additon of Carson is talked about more than the actual game. Kind of like all you hear the last two days is the are the Bears going to get Orton. It is a tought spot for them! That being said the Raiders have not played well at home all year & Forte could have a big day running the ball & in the screen game. Not to mention Raiders will be without Dmac, Jacoby Ford, & DHB. Carson is playing well though & Bush is a beast. Raiders 26-20. GL everyone

OK Boss. Bears are shit. They beat nobodies. Minnesota and Denver are great teams that Oakland beat and Chicago should emulate that more. Carson Palmer is better that Aaron Rodgers and Jay Cutler. You're the boss. Well said

Oakland are definitely the better team as they have shown the last 5 years. Bush is the greatest RB in the history of NFL too

Carson Palmer is a BACKUP as well??  He left Cincy as the starter due to a contract dispute & joined the Raiders as the starter because they lost their QB due to injury. Sooooo he left Cincy as a starter & joined the raiders as a starter yet he's a BACKUP You are hopeless
