Arizona Cardinals @ Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are the most dangerous team heading into the playoffs right now. I pray that the Panthers can somehow beat the Falcons this Sunday so I can ride Seattle throughout the NFC postseason. Seattle has had major injuries mid-way through the season and struggled mightily because of it, but similar to the Patriots early in the season, very good coaching is able to find ways to mask those injuries after a couple of games - as long as they have a well implemented system in place. The Seahawks still have the 2nd best defense heading into the NFC postseason in my opinion. No reason to wait for the possibility of them getting in to make some money off them, as they should be able to slaughter Arizona here. The Cardinals will have a very hard time scoring in this matchup. Seattle rolls, and if Falcons lose - watch out.
Note: This was going to be a very large play for me, but downgrading it slightly as the Panthers/Falcons game will be going on at the same time of this game. Sometimes teams can lose sight of focus while ‘scoreboard watching’ in the other game; but Seattle is very well coached that I think they’ll be able to keep all their focus in front of them.
Washington Redskins @ New York Giants
Huge motivational edge in this match-up. It looks like this will be Eli’s last game as a NY Giant. Eli Manning isn’t that good anymore, but he is highly respected by his peers and his city for bringing them 2 championships. I expect this team to rally around him, and play their hearts out this Sunday. On the other side, this is just another meaningless game for Washington to close out the season. Giants got shutout last week, but expect them to show up big here.
