Easily one of the best home teams in the NFL. Yet Pinnacle is giving 4 and offering up to +200 on the ML. Who's gonna bite?

ATL ML is dead money. SF to the Superbowl. Bank on it

I agreed with you last week with 9ers over Pack and I agree with you again this week

FO guts and stomps has this the largest mismatch I've ever seen.

Pack your bags Falcons your going to disney world to watch the SB with everyone else...................................................

I honestly think the spread is good but I tend to stick to ML bets in the playoffs

Laying favs ML in NFL playoffs might be a pretty risky proposition, often times we have to take the spread. Good luck!

Then why would they not be favored? Atlanta is just not being given any respect and when everyone and the mother thinks they should lose............what happens if they are easily one of the best home teams in the NFL. I think the Falcons are a live dog here. I may have to bite at the free money! +200 is a nice return on your investment.

Let me make sure I understand what you are saying. Atlanta is easily one of the best home teams in the NFL and yet they have no chance at winning against the Niners at home?

If San Fran is so good why couldn't they beat St. Louis Rams this year?  They played them 2 times.  1 tie. and 1 SU loss.  San Fran is an up and down team.  They can look like the best team in football, then they can look like a totally opposite team.  Kapernick on the Road in a playoff game with the weight of the world on his shoulders?  Cause if San Fran loses, his coach will be questioned for going with him, and also he'll be doubting himself after this.

The Falcons are in the best spot possible, being at home.  Just got the monkey off their back, they will play loose and free.  And have playoff experience from the 2 seasons before this.

San Fran is good, but Atlanta is right there with'em if not better.  ATL's defense is opportunistic, like the Saints defense was when they won the Super Bowl.  Watch Out!!!

Mike Nolan is probably the best thing Atlanta has going for them in this game.  He is there best chance at winning.  He will have a game plan to confuse CK and limit that dominant offense the Niners have become under Kap.  Atlanta is one of the best teams at home under Mike Smith and Matty Ice at 36-5 I believe, not sure if that counts playoff games though.  I agree, they should play loose and tough since bucking that Gorilla last week....
All that said...Niners this week are my biggest play of the year so far.  Last week I lost 17% of my total season winnings betting against the Ravens and Niners.  I will not make that error in capping on the Niners happen this week.  I feel I have had a very good read on this team since Harbaugh took over and have profited nicely over these past two season investing in them.
SF is not an up and down team.  You can say that about all NFL teams, its called the ebb and flow of a normal NFL seasons.  They lost some games in bad spots.  Yes the Rams played them tough but they were a solid young hungry well coached team that got up big time to play their division rival.
What you said about Kap was kinda ridiculous....he was in the exact same scenario last week.  He tossed that pick 6 to start the game and bounced back as if nothing happened and then went on to dominate that game.  He faced that same pressure and won't be feeling that weight like you say.  Harbaugh will have plenty to do with making sure this kids mindset is where it should be.   I actually did think Dom Capers would be the answer to him last week and we all saw what happened.  Nolan runs very similar schemes with regards to pass coverage and Atlanta is equally physical to the Packers with an even more undersized defense.  
Nolan I'm sure will have a solid game plan but it just won't be enough to stop the Niners.  Harbaugh and his team are going to be ready to go on Sunday.   GL everyone on their plays this weekend

Atlanta lost to the Saints, whom the niners manhandled, and the Panthers. And nearly lost at home to the Panthers, Raiders and Cardinals. And they needed last second FG's to win 2 of those games. Not incredibly impressive if you ask me.

No team is perfect, far from it. But the issue I have is when you have to call your defense "opportunistic", it means your not very good and NEED turnovers to win. Niners don't need turnovers. They generate pressure with their front 4 and have the best linebackers in the game along with a good secondary. 
Besides, they faced Newton twice and Russell Wilson once. And they have yet to figure out how to stop them. Atlanta has problems with running QB's. And they don't have the personnel to matchup with these guys.

The Rams are not good you clown.  If the Rams are good then why the freak were they 7-8? ha ha.  Get freakin real.  They still beat Raiders by the way.

You wanna talk about Quality wins?  Atlanta beat Washington in Washington (RG3 same type of QB as Kaepernick for San Fran).  Beat the fuuck out the Giants 34 - 0 when the Giants needed that game in the worst way to try to get into the playoffs.  Atlanta manhandled those fools.  And the Giants beat the hell out of San Fran earlier in the year.

Atlanta has great DB's with Asante Samuel, Dunta Robinson, William Moore and my Boy Decoud.  LB's are nice and athletic too.  Front 4 not the greatest, but can be decent with Abraham on the edge.

And the team we just beat Seattle?  Beat the fuuck out of the 49'ers 42-13.  Seattle was one of the hottest teams coming into the playoffs, and if not for that crazy comeback Falcons would have blown them the fuuck out. 

Take San Fran if you want, but when Atlanta lays the smack down in the Georgia Dome, you and the world gonna see just how good we really are.  And give us our damn respect!!!

Saints were no.1 in QB PASSER RATING differentail with there opputunistic defense .

Atlanta no.5 - 9ers no.4.

There was the same pressure on Kap and the coach last week because of the QB change, how did Kap respond ?

History tells us, it's not about losing to teams like the rams but how you beat teams like the Rams , teams with losing records.

The team with the most one score or less wins (8 pts) over teams with a losing record wins this deep in the plaoffs only 28% of the time.

9ers - 1

Atlanta - 4

Team with the most blow-out wins over teams with a losing record wins 75% of the time.

9ers - 5

Atlanta - 2

Simply put, Falcons one of the worst teams to get this deep in the playoffs. ..........................................................

,The proof started weeks ago against the Giants in Jersey ,when the Gmen were in must win mode and Falcons came in a spanked them A game they normally would lose in years past , Last week besides playing a 1st half that would beat any team in the NFL ,they took Seahawks initial punch to start the second half and counterd with 7points next possesion.(probably why they got so loose and let Seattle get back into it) But after a perfect storm with seatlle taking the lead  most teams if not all of them,would have lost that game period,And Atlanta for sure in years past would of   been toast,but not this year. The drive Ryan put together with 30 sec left and just marching down the field with Seatlle out of answers and gas,they win the game .That drive gave Ryan and company the jolt to put them in the Super Bowl

As for Matchup s Atlanta has handeled the running QB and has much experiance with that style all year besides KaP and Wilson who they containned last Sunday falcons during Reg season also had 2 games with Newton ,So plenty of experiance and mistakes against that sytle QB ,give ATL the edge with containning the new darlingColin Kap. Atl has better Runnuig game better recieving corp ,better QB  SF def might be better but ATL is peeking right now ,Coaching is on SF and special teams prob even   SF at home might be diffrent  results but at Home Matty Ryan and company will advance 31-24 and play the Ravens in the SuperBowl
