Not a very good reason.  No one wanted Arizona when they went to SB.  And I'm pretty sure Seattle wasn't everyone's favorite choice when they played the Steelers a few yrs back. There are plenty of reasons to pick SF to win this weekend, but " nobody wants them" is not one of them

All that said...Niners this week are my biggest play of the year so far.  Last week I lost 17% of my total season winnings betting against the Ravens and Niners.  I will not make that error in capping on the Niners happen this week.  I feel I have had a very good read on this team since Harbaugh took over and have profited nicely over these past two season investing in them.
SF is not an up and down team.  You can say that about all NFL teams, its called the ebb and flow of a normal NFL seasons.  They lost some games in bad spots.  Yes the Rams played them tough but they were a solid young hungry well coached team that got up big time to play their division rival.
What you said about Kap was kinda ridiculous....he was in the exact same scenario last week.  He tossed that pick 6 to start the game and bounced back as if nothing happened and then went on to dominate that game.  He faced that same pressure and won't be feeling that weight like you say.  Harbaugh will have plenty to do with making sure this kids mindset is where it should be.   I actually did think Dom Capers would be the answer to him last week and we all saw what happened.  Nolan runs very similar schemes with regards to pass coverage and Atlanta is equally physical to the Packers with an even more undersized defense.  
Nolan I'm sure will have a solid game plan but it just won't be enough to stop the Niners.  Harbaugh and his team are going to be ready to go on Sunday.   GL everyone on their plays this weekend 

Kap was at home last week, and you have to admit there is a difference   Not taking anything away from him, but the pressure will be heavier, and the 12th man will make a difference, especially on a young QB.  not saying Atl wins, but inside the number is definitely a strong possibility.    BOL. On whatever you all play, leaning Falcons with the points here

The 49ers will kill this garbage team. They should be at least a ten point favorite. The Falcons are lucky to even be playing in this game. They have no pass rush. Michael Turner is slower than me so they won't be able to run the ball. This game will be over early.

atl is overrated #1 NFC seed..although their division features high powered offenses (NO,TB, CAR), none of those teams have a winning record nor good defenses...yea they beat broncos earlier in the year but thats like peyton mannings 2nd or 3rd game back, you could tell he was rusty...and you can also argue that they shut out the gians at home, PREVIOUS SUPERBOWL CHAMPS, but in actuality giants were REALLY inconsistent this year...ATL schedule was soft...they will be exposed come sunday
 
and yes u can argue sf lost to seattle or lost to stl louis etc etc ....well thats cuz they are division rivals, STL louis is 6-0ats against division rivals and seattles is a damn good team....SF still had some quality wins against Pats,chicago, and gb tho.

When people talk like this it usually means they lost money on them and are now pissing on them.  Sometimes it comes back to bite you in the behind.  Lets hope not this time.

Maybe you should stick to basic competitions like the spelling bee instead of NFL handicapping.  Please for god's sake learn how to spell loser, loser.

Kaepernick 1st career start monday night football against the Bears who were at the time playing the best defense in the league. He carves up the d and gets the win, @ NE Sunday night football in december and they get out to a 31-3 lead... Yeah they got complacent and let NE catch up, but then he hits crab for the game winner! All i hear is talk about the Seattle and St. Louis games, but everyone forgets they are division rivals so games should be tight, and they got it handed to them by a pumped up Seattle team in the toughest place to play in nfl. He already had his down moments on the season, and his high moments are why harbaugh made him the starter and he is one of the best young qbs in the league. The flight doesn't matter in this case since SF have been home since Dec. 24th!

Harbaugh, Greg Roman, Vic Fangio > Mike Smith, Dirk Koetter, Mike Nolan (Not even close)

49ers 4 losses and 1 tie their Defense gave up 143 yards/game rushing... in their 12 wins (including GB playoff game) opponents ran for 74.5 yards per/game. Atlanta offense averaging 87.1 yards/game rushing @ only 3.7 yards/carry. I see atlanta staying near their season avg and niners rolling

haha watch the people the bet on Atlanta scatter like 'Raid' after the game, shaking their heads, looking for a bailout on the 2nd game...U just cant get it through to some people, they will throw money away on such garbage aka Atlanta... I tried to warn them

Everyone keeps using the excuse of san frans losses being division games. Well i got news for you, all 3to of atl's losses were division losses and they are 11-0 outside of their division this year.

i wish the game was tomorrow so all this knit knat talking was over and we'll see who will really win... just my opinion so dont get all fired up guys... but matt ryan will be pressured.. it takes a few for white and jones to get down field... culliver and rogers will play tight so i dont see matt ryan sitting in the pocket.. unless he can run outside the pocket and make a accurate throw to them... then maybe he'll stay in the game....

Justin Smith is going to create the holes necessary for Aldon Smith to pressure, hurry, sack and cause fumbles all afternoon long.  Theses games always come dowen to which team has fewer turnovers and 100 yard rushers.  How is SF not going to have 2 100 yard rushers in Kap/Gore.  SF defense will look like lightning on turf.  Not to mention they tackle, hit like old school dominating teams and are justy athletic as hell.  If you dont get excited to watch this 9er team, you arent a fan of good football.

Seattle is a damn good team right?  Didn't Atlanta just beat Seattle to get to host the NFC Championship game?  Uhhh yeah.  But you right Atlanta sucks?    Keep talking tho, eventually you'll convince yourself of the bullshiit you speak.

I'm with LC on this one. I'd rather have Kap over Matty "ice is melting" Ryan. Seriously, can't go with Atl with him as their qb. I also think, SF def outplays Atl def in this matchup.
