LC, it's not surprising you're making an argument for Green Bay. You can't help yourself. You need vindication for some reason. Your ego is hurt, and you keep going down the same road. You should really remove your emotions because sometimes when it comes to a great team you have to believe what you see.
Green Bay as a team is intimidated by Seattle. And they should be. This is a team that got couldn't beat the 49ers in the playoffs 2 years in a row (last year at home in the cold).
The Seahawks are the Super Bowl Champs. They have home field. They don't lose at home. Aaron Rodgers is gimpy. He plays poorly on the road. GB's run defense allows BIG holes...etc, etc, etc...
IMO you're on the wrong game if you're angling for an underdog. But if you want to lose another 5-10 units betting against Seattle AGAIN... that's your prerogative.
IMO this will be a double digit victory that gets completely out of hand in the 2nd half as Green Bays playoff hopes go down the drain.

Tell that to my bookie who took my Carolina +12 money. This instance you mention happens in probably about 25% of the games I lose. Okie state last night was definitely good enough to cover but nooooo.....refs bail out Kansas and let them shoot 46 god damn free throws and I only miss the covers by 2.5 pts. The cover doesn't necessarily translate to what happened in production on the field. Just don't see GB going stride for stride with sea here. The offense will stall time and time again simple as that. Bol to you though

.. Green bay doesn't not have the defense to stop Seattle . in that building .I have a future on GB from week6 winning the NFC and I hedged it and took Seattle-7 .GB receivers are going to have a tough day ,And they are not running the ball like last week I had the score last week at 31-17 posted ,and why) This game Im going with Seattle 31-24
As for the Colts ,the defense played the Bengals and a Bronco team that beat themselves . They were torched a few games during the year Pitts jumps out as one. We can go on and on about the Pats Pats win 42-27

I've been saying this all along Seattle is all smoke and mirrors
And the Seattle defensive stats if you play Oakland Washington
St Louis twice Arizona twice San Fran twice why wouldn't your stats rank you #1 defense
They played a bunch of teams that can't score on anyone and lose games to everyone
Seattle is overrated and way overvalued getting +7 with the packers is a gift .
Good points, Seattle against teams that finished with a top 10 offense this year: Lost to Chargers by 9, Beat Broncos by 6, Lost to Cowboys by 7 and that's it. Besides Week 1 against GB of course.
The other 13 games have been against Offenses ranked in the bottom half of the league

Have you seen the colts defense L2 games vs run? Anderson was a monster L6 games, gaining 600+ yds rushing and he was held to 87yds vs Colts def. Herron is a viable threat, he's an upgrade of Richardson & Bradshaw been a no factor all season. Let's not forget luck can run.
Colts ml all day ...GL
I'm not worried about what the Colts did at home vs an Andy Dalton QB without AJ Green. Ofcourse they committed to stopping the run because that's the only way the Bengals could operate. The Bengals didn't run the ball at all the second half because they were trailing. Tom Brady is a great QB w/ playoff wins. Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis have as many playoff wins as I do...ZERO. Which is why I was on the Colts, large, in that game.
CJ Anderson had a great 1st half vs the Colts, rushing for 70 yards. He only got 5 carries in the second half. Peyton Manning couldn't beat them long because his arm is weak. He had a torn quad & couldn't throw at all. But Denver had to abandon the run as well because they were trailing by 2 scores. Anderson did work in the 1st half.
Tom Brady, however is not hurt. He does not choke in the playoff games as Manning has (a first round exit 9 times in his career), and he does have playoff wins unlike Andy Dalton. The Pats have run for 470 yards on the Colts w/ backup RBs in their last two meetings. The Pats will have a healthy Gronk running wild down the middle of the field on play-action because the Colts will commit to the run because they can't stop it. Jonas Gray ran for 201+ yards on them last game. You probably didn't even know who he was before that. The Pats will be able to mix it up so well (unlike the Bengals & Colts) and keep the Colts D on their heals. Plus, they're at home.
Yes I did tease the Pats but am also on a big parlay w/ them -6. I think they'll score at will on this team. They've outscored the Colts 144-65 in their L3 games. The numbers don't lie. Some teams just have other teams numbers. The Ravens play the Pats very tough, the Colts do not. The Panthers play the Seahawks tough, Green Bay isn't as physical as Seattle. I'm just trying to help people make money. I haven't missed a playoff pick all season. I was on Indy last week +16.5 in a teaser, I had Ohio State ML, I took Indy vs Cincy & Denver. Not in this spot. This is different.

No answer for Beast mode. Don't let emotion & past occurrences affect your capping for a particular game. You're better than that, LC. I've done same $hit before.

I can't believe the lengths people go to in trying to make a case against one team but not the other. Exactly what has GB done that makes them so much special.......their 3-6 record ATS in roadies?

Hey L.C. In Phixers NFL playoff thread Post #100 on 1-7-2015 at 9:14:08 PM I gave teams and scores for the playoffs. I am perfect with the ats points. I cannot fanthom why the Colts are only 7 and now 6.5 dogs after losing to NE the last 5 games by over 20 points per game. Train thought the line was where it needed to be. Would appreciate your input. Thanks.

Do some think Seattle had it easy? This year on the "Strength of Schedule" it was Ranked that Seattle having the 6th hardest, Pats #10 , GB #13, and Colts with the easiest #32.... Seahawks are real and here is a cheesy stat.... They would be the "12th" team to win B2B SB's......Haters gonna hate and we are in a new era of Football....This is gonna be a good game

Cam newton is one of the most elusive qb's in football. Rogers is on one leg. Seattle already blew out a healthy rogers to open the season. Seattle D is playing the best it has played all season. Dallas ran all over GB. Just think what beastmode and Wilson will do to it. 31-17

Shivaseven, you are forgetting the experience factor and the maturation of Wilson (how can you cap that). I'll take this year's Wilson over last year's even if last year's team was better.
BB, you make great points about Wilson and team maturity but I still think last years club was a lot deeper up front on defense and with the loss of Harvin and Tate they lack a bit of explosiveness on offense. I still think last year's HAWKS are 2.5 points better on a neutral. Last years HAWKS beat a very, very good 49er team to make it to the Super Bowl. This years team hasn't faced a top-notch team in the second half of the season. We will see!

Aaron Rodgers on the road this season against Top 10 DVOA defenses:
55% completions. 5.25 YPA. Total passing yards in the three games: 189, 162, 185. QB rating: 64.0
Packers record in those games: 0-3 SU & ATS.
Packers points scored: 16, 7, 13.
Blake Bortles had the worst QB rating in the league this year at 69.5. Against Top 10 defenses on the road Aaron Rodgers has played worse than Blake Bortles. Think about that. He and the Packers offense have been terrible over three full games. Pretty big sample in the NFL. Now minus a leg and his mobility he's supposed to play better?

I havn't even posted a play nimrod, i'm sparking debate and there's good discussion in here because of it. Get lost troll, your opinion means nothing here
I guess the truth hurts. Sour grapes. I've been winning with Seattle - so my opinion counts for my bankroll.

Well then debate. You say you lean Green Bay but I haven't seen 1 reason why. Aside from stats from the Carolina game. Which I see as being 100% irrelevant being GreenBay and Carolina are polar opposites of teams.

Here, I'll do LC's work for him even though I'm on Seattle:
"Non-divisional, same-site teams struggle to beat the same opponent twice, going 14-28 ATS since 2000. This also applies to the Seahawks."

Bottom line is. You like playing off motivational angles and so on. Well The passion these Seattle Seahawks have is 2nd to none. No team or sideline has the adrenaline, the passion, the desire, the want, the chemistry as this team. It's so insanely cool to watch when you watch the replays on NFL turning point etc.
Now as for Talent. My favorite way to make a play. Well Seattle offense will not have much problem scoring on Green Bay defense. Wilson too smart. Lynch too powerful. This offense just works. They don't have the star power. The use brains, chemistry and power. On the other side. Well Rodgers produced 1 TD (6 points) that didn't require a turnover or a long pass interference penalty in week 1. That was with a good leg. They damn near got to him every play. Rodgers doesn't have to be mobile to move the ball and score. But it simply improves the odds in seattles favor. He will get sacked. He will turn it over. I simply can't say the same for Wilson.

On a scale of 1-100 on how much that means to me. I'd say 1. At the absolute most that would be a tie breaker for me on a 50/50 action bet that I'd bet just to watch the game. Other then that it's pretty much useless.

Rodgers doesn't have to be mobile to move the ball and score. But it simply improves the odds in seattles favor. He will get sacked. He will turn it over. I simply can't say the same for Wilson.
Yes, it goes back to what Bradshaw said:
"This is not a team that's afraid of being good, and that's very important."

Now as for Talent. My favorite way to make a play. Well Seattle offense will not have much problem scoring on Green Bay defense. Wilson too smart. Lynch too powerful. This offense just works.
