I have Pack 7.5 and here's why, Seattle plays a zone scheme, Asron Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL. He will be able to pick the zone apart.
Ask your self , if the Aaron Ridgers is on the 10 with 1st and goal down 14 to get back in the game, is he throwing a pick 6? No. He is not.
And remember, Carolina got waxed at GB with a healthy Rodgers. Now do I think GB wins, idk; but they damn sure cover the 7.5.
Colts SU.
No offense, but I'm sorry, that statement strikes me as so idiotic on so many levels.
(1) Your whole premise starts with Seattle covering the number. I think if you are backing GB, your hope is that Seattle NEVER gets up by 14. That may be panic time for GB....being down 14 will not help GB against that seattle defense. Being up 14 and Seattle D holding on to cover is more likely than being up 7 and Seattle O scoring late instead of running out the clock.
(2) You scenario suggests that it's late in the game. If not, GB is kicking the FG anyways which is still a cover. If late, then GB will go for it on 4th. Why does it have to be a pick6 or TD as the only outcome? TO on downs could be a likely outcome also.
(3) Seattle runs a zone scheme, so at the 14, isn't their defense even moreso effective because of the condensed field?
(4) It's nice to imagine for arguments sake but what allows you to magically assume GB will be on the 14, especially being DOWN 14, which assumes Seattle has kept them in check for the most part. GB can expect long fields and will need long sustained drives to score. Seattle doesn't give the ball away. So to even BE in the scenario, you are assuming GB will have success driving the field. 12th man, gimpy AR 14 point lead and seattle D? yeah, like I said, that scenario is probably one of the worst ones you can think of.
As a GB backer, I think you need to hope they lead or stay within the number the entire time.

Aaron Rodgers on the road this season against Top 10 DVOA defenses:
55% completions. 5.25 YPA. Total passing yards in the three games: 189, 162, 185. QB rating: 64.0
Packers record in those games: 0-3 SU & ATS.
Packers points scored: 16, 7, 13.
Blake Bortles had the worst QB rating in the league this year at 69.5. Against Top 10 defenses on the road Aaron Rodgers has played worse than Blake Bortles. Think about that. He and the Packers offense have been terrible over three full games. Pretty big sample in the NFL. Now minus a leg and his mobility he's supposed to play better?
Good points

Bottom line is. You like playing off motivational angles and so on. Well The passion these Seattle Seahawks have is 2nd to none. No team or sideline has the adrenaline, the passion, the desire, the want, the chemistry as this team. It's so insanely cool to watch when you watch the replays on NFL turning point etc.
Now as for Talent. My favorite way to make a play. Well Seattle offense will not have much problem scoring on Green Bay defense. Wilson too smart. Lynch too powerful. This offense just works. They don't have the star power. The use brains, chemistry and power. On the other side. Well Rodgers produced 1 TD (6 points) that didn't require a turnover or a long pass interference penalty in week 1. That was with a good leg. They damn near got to him every play. Rodgers doesn't have to be mobile to move the ball and score. But it simply improves the odds in seattles favor. He will get sacked. He will turn it over. I simply can't say the same for Wilson.
Tough to bank on turnovers but everything else

LC don't you think Carolina matched up a little better against seattle than greenbay? or no? Rodgers injury? green bay not great on the road? Rodgers always rips bad defenses to shreads, but usually looks pedestrian against good defense? example Detroit and Miami this year, san fran historically. I was thinking Carolinas defense was better than green bays, and Cam newton always gets slammed and deservedly so, but when he wants to he is extremely talented and can play some football. I am not slamming your pick, I am just asking questions, im leaning seattle, but would really like to get this one right this week.
U 4got TAMPA Bay

Tough to go against a Hot Seattle team that I believe has won and covered 7 straight games and of course are playing in Seattle this Sunday.. The Packers do not have any good road wins this year and have struggled giving up 121 yards on the ground per game..of course Rodgers is not 100 percent as well and it seems like a tough road .

Dumb thread. Cam Newton is a terrible QB. Not all about yards. The Packers defense isn't even close to as good as Carolina's either. Ohh and Rodgers looked uncomfortable as f*ck in the pocket at home vs an overrated Cowboys defense. How will he look in Seattle when his calf is worse?
That overrated Cowboy defence you're referring to went into Seattle and held Wilson to 126 yards passing and Lynch to 61 yards rushing.

this feels like last week all over again. "carolina +11 is a gift." "gb +7 is a gift." "seattle defense hasnt played anyone good." you only play who you play. and if youre thinking their performance in the first few weeks of the season is any indicator of how they will play sunday, you're not to be listened to.
we saw it last week, and we'll see it again this week. all the seattle faders will keep making predictions that they'll lose despite being down money.

That was also over 3 months ago when the Seahawks weren't playing good football. That's irrelevant now. The Cowboys defense played over their heads all year. The Seahawks were on a short week that week & had a division game w/ Rams up next. Cowboys were more motivated for that one. The Seahawks will be motivated to get back to the Super Bowl, their defense is playing better than ever, & their D has allowed 7 points of less in 5 of their last 7 games.

Where did I bring up the Packers on the road? The thing is, in Week 1, Aaron Rodgers didn't have a torn calf. I like the Seahawks & the Packers. They are my two favorite teams. But the Packers are overly matched here. Seattle is more physical & better in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I think Rodgers is scared. He knows his O-line can't block Seattle & he's playing through a lot of pain. Eddie Lacy has to run for 4-5 YPC in order to win. And that won't happen. 31-16 Seahawks.

You used the Cowboy defence as a measuring stick against Green Bay and I was simply providing the same competitions comparison and the Seahawks were VERY UP for that game with that Cowboys so we can differ on that opinion as I think that's nonsense. Americas Team playing solid football was flying into town for a big game showdown and you're telling me the Seahawks had the Rams on their minds? Come on man! I watched that game and the Seahawks played balls out football and got their azzes handed to them on a bent tray period. As for the rest of what you said, it did not relate to the topic, which was the Cowboys defence. My post was not saying Green Bay beats Seattle it was simply providing the other end of the measuring stick that you brought up in your post.

For me, all I can think about is watching Rodgers gimp around the field for 4 quarters last week. On his first TD pass in that game from 4 yards out, Rodgers had an EASY running lane and would have run in untouched for the TD if he had been healthy. Instead, Rodgers did thread a needle to Quarless and made a nice throw. The problem is that the D gave him a running lane that he could not take advantage of.
Against Seattle, I think Rodgers lack of mobility is the difference in this game. When they get down and are forced to throw, I would rather NOT have my hard earned $$$$ on a one legged QB. Yes, the 7.5 is a tad higher than Seattle backers might like, but there is a good reason for the high spread.
Rodgers gets mauled Sunday.....just my 2 pennies.
Gamble for entertainment, invest for wealth!

BTW, you yourself said the Seattle would be under a lot of pressure in that game as heavy favorites and that Carolina would play free and loose (which all came true, except for the cover). Don't you think that explains a little bit as to why Carolina played better than people thought they would. Now both teams are playing to get to the SB, in a game a between equals (pressure on both teams).
More so that Carolina was playing with house money and loose rather than Seattle playing with pressure but yes you are correct. GB won't have that luxury here.
What is yours points? You mean GB playing hard.

So Green Bay has no motivation what so ever? where do these people come from? smh
