You don't get 3 superbowl rings without being great in Superbowls wether it was early in the game or late, he could have thrown it away like manning did, he didn't. Brady drove for game winning field goals or the touchdown like he did against the giants, he doesn't play defense he put his team ahead late in the game, I have seen both, Montana was the man but Brady has been outstanding in big games, not in every big game nobody is perfect.

Winning the Superbowl is unbelieveably difficult because you have to on be your game on one day, not the best out of seven but the fact remains many great players have done it and with that elevate their stature. No bigger example than Bradshaw in big games he was money, the last two superbowls were because of the passing game. he has no great stats to speak of but the ability to win the tough games when everything is on the line is important.Montana. Aikman, Bradshaw and damn i hate saying this Brady did it, like I said earlier . yes they were on great teams but did the egg or the chicken come first. Jimmie Johnson did very little for Miami , switzer won one in Dallas with the same players, my favorite Chuck Knoll did little without Bradshaw and I am not sure what to say about Bill Walsh but Siefiert won one after he left.

Manning needs to show that ability to be brought into Montana's class.

Indy is causing their own mess by Polian blaming everyone except the coach and Manning who should take the heat if there was any, instead of just admitting they were beat by a better team on that day.

As a defensive coordinator i would often explain to the coach why a player wasn't in position to make a play, sometimes the QB just read what we were doing. This is on manning and the coach, it is that simple. Three runs at the goaline by a passing team when you just went 96 yards, a player leaving early which was probaly picked up on film, the lack of ability to get a few yards to hit a closer Fg, an attempt at a 50+ Fg when a guy hasn't hit one since 2006 and finally your QB throwing into coverage on a route he threw on the same drive and setup earlier in the game. If you threw it earlier on the drive you better watch it, in the NFL that isn't easy.

Polian is an idiot, great personel guy but an idiot. His team lost he didn't want the real culprites blamed, i would have said the Saints were better and left it at that.

Bradshaw did not win 4 Super Bowls by himself....... Aikman did not win 4 Super Bowls by himself........ no QB has ever won even ONE Super Bowl by themself?

Bradshaw had Chuck Knoll and the Steel Curtain...... Aikman had one of the greatest offensive lines, greatest RBs and greatest defenses of all time.......

last time for the cheap seats:  quarter backs do not win Super Bowls....... teams win Super Bowls...........

neither Aikman nor Bradshaw are considered to be in even the top 5 or 10 greatest QBs of all time, when you ask the experts........ the experts!  they were both serviceable QBs that new how to manage the game and played on great teams....... but neither of them were truly great QBs.......

and Bradshaw is the one who won those games?  all by his lonesome?  not Mean Joe Greene or Franco Harris?  just little ol Terry?
