Look at how many different plays must be run to do it this way. He could have kicked fg with 30 lest got onside so about 20 left and can throw it to the endzone a couple times. He was even throwing it to the end zone.

i completely disagree, you kick the field goal and you take the clock down to :25 seconds, you onside kick in and recovers so now you are down to :20 seconds then you have to go 60 yards in :20 seconds and score a touchdown. if you can get in the endzone in the next two plays you are taking 10-15 seconds of the clock thus trying an onside kick with :20 seconds with recovery you have :15 seconds, enough time for two plays only needing 20-25 yards to give yourself a shot at a field goal. the latter seems far easier and more likely than the former.

i understand your argument I just don't think it is the way to go, the bigger problem was like you stated once you made the decision to go for 6 you can't dump it down with no timeouts at the 3

Thats fine then throw it to the endzone.but you dont have time for 5 plays anyway you cut it. My point is you can score 10 points in less plays (Time) by kicking the fg.

that i agree with, the play call driving down was terrible

LOOK this was no fix YOU know titans had to score finally because of Colts defense INDY got the FG to go up by 9 points they left the under yardge open played the Dime cover soft defense taking away deep game making sure they held the titans in field not allowing side passes !
Thats the way all teams play at end of game IT was shame that INDY didnt have ball at end of game
dosent matter Titans had to COVER one game sooner or later THEY LOST the game as expected
are Eliminated from Playoffs can only play spolier roll for others and just play for pride !
any one who cries FIXES are the morons because if YOU belive that the players or caoches can be approached and accept money to shave points , drop passes , fumble , make the worst call ever to NOT cover a spread than YOU are one DUMB jack ass !
These are MILLIONaires all of them make at laest $250,000 a year
HOW much can YOU pay them to blow a cover ?
aint no bookie in the USA that has enough action on a game or enough money to pay off a haed coach , and one or two players to make sure they keep a game within 2 points !
NFL teams DO NOT care how many points they win BY all they want is a W if they can win 16 games by 1 point they would take it !
COLLEGE teams YES they care they have it in thier system in rankings according to who YOU play YOU have to score even if losing YOU NEED points on the Board !
THIS game was NO bet for me there are easier games on sunday and MON
I picked Colts to win the game and figured that because of weak defense with injuries that it was going to tight and just saved myself MONEY by not wagering on a coin flip game !
