This couldn't be farther from the truth. I always look to see how a QB has fared against his opponent in the past. Tom Brady vs. Buffalo, Tom Brady vs. Pittsburgh. Drew Brees vs. Carolina, Russell Wilson vs. Rams....all these have been $$$$ year after year, whether favorite or dog. Granted, if their is a QB change this does not apply.

In this game here, Carolina vs. Pitts, Big Ben is 3-0 vs. Carolina w/ ZERO INTs and a 109.7 QB rating. James Conner coming into his own, and the Steel City rush defense (Secondary has improved as well) improving week after week and playing at home. Cam Newton is highly overrated, and that pass defense will be exposed tonight IMO, against super-fast receivers/route running receivers and a very hungry James Conner. Pittsburgh minus the chalk.

Hahahaha Big Ben 3-0 vs panthers, I can’t stop laughing about this, that was 2014, 2010 n 2008 with 2 games Pitts being favorite by 14 and by 3 pts on the road....which means one thing.....panthers not a good team at that time.....you can’t compare those stats with 2018 panthers man , don’t read too much into those public info ....totally useless, not quite care about public dog or not, if panthers can play like they did against Philly.....they will win against Pitts!

massive line value on pittsburgh here now lc.both teams played baltimore within the last 2 weeks both won and on the respective lines they were for those games the line here would make the steelers a touchdown favourite and adding home field means the line should be pittsburgh -10/-10.5. now whilst we know that is a stretch the numbers were either grossly wrong for both of those games or grossly wrong tonight. taking the +7 wasn't the worst value in the world, but the -3 (-120) im seeing here in the uk is huge value imo.

Problem is, Pittsburgh is much better than Philly. Some Teams and QBs, no matter the year or record, always play well against certain teams....its psychological of course, but that's football when elite athletes are lining up against one another. 90% of the time, whoever has the psychological edge wins.

With due respect to LC and how much time and effort he has given this forum without being paid, he has not explained why Panthers will win ATS or SU even at +6 other than his own blanket conclusion that not enough respect is being given to Panthers by the oddsmakers.  On top of that his bad beat of last Sunday draws out opposing views.  Opposing views at least have some reasons, not just a conclusion that Steelers are not being respected.  I am concerned with LC's pick of Panthers because he chose it on Wednesday of last week.  He must know what he is doing and maybe right about this pick, but those opposing him had 8 more days to mull over the matchup.  I have nothing going on this game.  We'll find out soon.
