This is stupid. I did not bet the game. With that said, the odds of losing the game on a kneel down are virtually zero. If they take the 2 points, the odds of losing the game go up to .0001. But, WHY RISK INJURY? That is the reason to decline the points.

Last point. Anyone that laid over a TD with that pathetic SF offence vs. the Seattle D, deserves to lose $$$$.

Yes post 54 would be correct IF seattle had a timeout to challenge.  That type of play is not an automatic review within the last 2 minutes of either half.

They did review the first down.. And it wasn't overturned!  it was painfully obvious half the ball was over the line.. Now people will say the line isn't official blah blah blah.. but they didnt even mark it and remeasure on the technicality that the game was over either way.

I could give a rats ass if it was the right call or not. I think the call is BS and he take into consideration that the fans needed a freaking 9 or to beat the freaking line. Why the hell you take the points off the board and make the degenerates pay the price. 

BS call take care of the fans who bet money and watch you clowns every week

Whats better a 7 pt lead 1 possession game with 48 sec, or a 9 pt lead 2 possession game with 48 sec......Give me the 9 pt game wit 48 sec......its almost imposible you lose a 9 pt game with 48 sec.....in the 7 pt game you can fumble the snap seattle recovers and thats another story.

Why do they call it a FREE KICK?

The only restriction is you cannot use a T.

A team can either use the punter to squib the ball 10 yards or use a holder and KO doing the same.

Please learn the rules before making a fool of yourself here, although you have plenty of company it seems.

Rewind your tivo's,,  they reviewed the last play after the ruling on the field that it wasnt a first down..  Then the ref came on and said after review the play stands as called,, game over.. but the game was over either way so they didn't really take the review seriously in my opinion.   thats just the way the cookie crumbles

Cmon, as a SF bettor, there were so many things that needed to happen just so that there would have been a miracle cover with a safety. A sack, then a false start, then a penalty in the end zone. We lucked out just to have a shot at it. It was close to a first down, there isn't a correct camera angle.

A lot of angry people in here. I think more than anything you want to control your own destiny. If you have the choice to let the other team even put their finger on the ball or to just keep it and take a knee, you take the knee because you're the one in control. I don't think as many scenarios as are going on in this thread went into the decision. I think the decision was, what is the fastest and safest way I can get the fucking ball out of their hands.

Harbaugh knew it wasnt a penelty and that the refs were tryin to fix the spread. thats why he declined the penelty. Dont be suprised when a ref goes missing this week

I mostly bet the NBA where you know its fixed. The NFL is an absolute joke. The only way to bet it is to anticipate the fix and wager accordingly. They are absolute gangster about how they manipulate it. The head ref bet it the other way then Harbaugh came in to take points off the board. Defensive minded coach doesn't reward his defense with safety????? Penalty or not the guy closest gets the credit. Absurd, up 9 with 43 seconds I am pretty sure you hold on for win. 


Anyone who thinks otherwise is in denial.

It also made a lot of people money. Without the integrity of the game there would be no wide spread gambling on the NFL. They have no interest in taking gambling into game play because it would have the opposite effect.
