It’s the bad scent of dirty fiat money coming in on the Cowboys. The worst thing that happened to the Cowboys was former Niner OC Mike McDaniels having one of his Dolphin defenders roll up Jimmy G’s ankle 7 weeks ago. Mike McDaniels still helping his old team. Loyalty is rare these days. You see, IF Jimmy was playing Sunday, Dallas likely wins the game. But he’s not. The Shanahan offense has been unlocked. Averaging near 40 ppg. 11 game winning streak and the bad taste of a SB loss fresh in their minds.
Niners offense is an absolute juggernaut with Purdy. A total buzz saw awaits Dallas Sunday night and to make matters worse, the cowboys won’t stop chirping, they won’t stop chirping brev, brev, don’t hype up a team that doesn’t like you to begin with, don’t offer the extra motivation brev , don’t do it Brev. The Niners were sleep walking vs the inferior Seattle team until a bonehead Seahawks player tried to intentionally hurt Deebo. It was over from that exact moment. Niners destroyed Seattle.
While Dallas players, coaches and Jerry can’t stop commenting about how badly they wanted the Niners, there’s silence from the Niner faithful. Nothing but silence. Dallas will get the very best version of the Niners offense and defense. Shanahan had paid his dues in this league. This moment is his.
I like Dallas. I think it will be a great game. But Shanahan’s run scheme will wear that defense down as the game extends. 10 point win for Niners.

I hate ifs. If Jimmy were playing , maybe they aren't even there. Also, the Niner faithful is never silent. Not when they're winning. And not when it involves their biggest rival.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

i keep seeing this narrative lol, such a joke. Plus shanahan is 2-0 in the divisional round, so another ridiculous narrative. If people are acting like McCarthy is better than shanahan, might be time to reevaluate taking people seriously on this site.

Dvoa schedule says SF(31) -5.8%
Dallas(27) -3.3%
Another site says SF(32), DAL(20)
Sagarin says SF(32), DAL(28)
Look at SF's win streak, and show me a good team they've faced.
Please post facts
This overall argument is closer to nil, than pertinent, as both teams have had a weak sos. But SF has had the easier road. They play in the nfc west. Rams, Seahawks and Cardinals. Dallas played in a hard division this year.

Last Year the Niners played without Bosa and Warner for the most of the game and still beat Dallas at Dallas with Jimmy G. This version with CMC is miles better than last years squad. Where has Dallas improved? They’re the same team. McCarthy getting smoked on Sunday my guy.

There is nothing above to disagree with. Personally, there are a lot of ways you can look at this game, I just don’t think SOS is one of significant relevance. SF pummeled TB in the regular season, Dallas got pummeled by TB. None of it matters.

Oh man...... you are SOOO WRONG! Have you actually looked at these two teams' schedules? I'm not saying your pick or analysis of game aspects is wrong... but for sure, the Cowboys had a stronger SOS this year. That IS a fact!
GL on your plays this week!

The difference in the game will be the Niners O line and Kyle’s rushing scheme and attack > Dallas rush attack, McCaffrey and Mitchell running for over 200 yards. Shanahan isn’t stupid. Niners will control the ball and when that defense is softened, Purdy play action roll outs, screens, Kittle. He’s not going to Purdy rip it all game.

SAGARIN SAYS niners 1-1 vs top ten 3-1 vs top 16 Dem boys 2-3 vs top ten 3-3 vs top 16 NFC west much weaker nfc east stronger there is no material difference in the schedules that’s a myth Niners have much better DVOA and a more talented roster Niners win and cover </

Seriously... why are you guys still using Sagarin ratings? Doesn't anybody actually check to see whether those ratings are right? They're wrong... the guy is absolutely trash at doing ratings now! They're so far off it's like he has his kids doing it for him!
I did a very lengthy and detailed write-up of why his ratings are worthless on another thread. Any capper who is doing a small amount of their own work would already have figured this out like I did! I am not stating an opinion... Sagarin Ratings are pure useless trash!
