Right the Bills' run defense is a little suspect for sure as they give up 4.7 per rush but the D is giving up only 19 points per game and their offense is clicking so long as Allen does not turn the ball over. IF is a big word but there are two sides to that coin also. BOL

I do not see that making such of a difference unless there is ugly weather and it turns into a ground game, or if the Chiefs get a big lead and then go to running.
BUF Rushing D is for sure worse on the road but KC rushing is worse at home.
For example:
BUF Rushing Defense at home: 4.4 Y/A and -.14 EPA/A
BUF Rushing Defense on road: 5.1 Y/A and 0.0 EPA/A
KC Rushing Offense at home: 4.1 Y/A and -.06 EPA/A
KC Rushing Offense on road: 4.6 Y/A and .06 EPA/A
For sure, I think you are right about Allen on the road though. His difference level between home and road is worse than a lot of QBs. But he does seem to get up for the KC games.

Pacheco has 779 rushing yards at 4.4 yards per attempt. The next best RB is Edwards-Hellaire with 150 yards at 3.5 yards per attempt. The rest of the RBs combined have less than 80 yards. Mahomes has 331 yards at 5.8 yards per attempt, that's what boosts up that average. The Chiefs should be ineffective on designed rushing plays. Pacheco was their best chance of exploiting that weakness in the Bills defense. I like Buffalo.

bills also have a big distraction with the coaches bizarre 9/11 speach being in the news.
I am amazed people are betting the bills down to +1.5. no way should this line be even -3, should be -4. Shows many who got burned by the chiefs last week couldn't wait to bet against them.

Buffalo defense is not giving up 19 pts per game on the road. Thats overall and not a true indication of their road defense.. They are giving up 30 + " pure' points per game on the rd.

Or the late line move is a lure to attract more KC money??? Is there a law that says the books must move the line in accordance with money received on a side? After all, they are in the gambling business too and perhaps they might want to take a walk on the wild side and risk exposure because of a perceived advantage for a side? I know many consider this heresy but if we could only peak behind the curtain, what surprises we would find.

Chiefs were on their 3rd string green dot linebacker in GB last week after #2 guy went down on the first drive. They get #1 guy Bolton back this week. That’s why the defense looked lost last week. I think they’ll respond this week.

Of the 6 Bills' games on the road and I did include the one in Europe, the Bills' defense has given up 140 points which averages to 23 points per game. In the 5 games that the Bills have played on the road they have scored 134 points which averages out to 27 points per game (not pure points of course).
KC has scored 138 points at home (not pure points) in 5 games which averages out to 27 points per game. Again this is a brand new week in the NFL, a brand new construct and of course you discounted the 'man in the river' parable and failed to comprehend the moral of the story as it applies to American pro football. So be it. You say you don't put the pure points angle front and center but your actions speak louder than words. I have been reading your at times insightful posts for years and 'pure points' is mentioned time and time again pal.

You obviously do not comprehend how a sports book operates
Obviously you listen to mainstream sports' media and vomit back what you hear. Time for you to think outside the box, however I doubt you will ever get there (no imagination). Money doesn't always move lines which is a reality you will never embrace.

You are making an assumption and an erroneous one at that If by thinking outside the box you think books try to trick people and get them to one side because they already know the outcome of the event then yes I will never think outside the box

The Packers and the Bills are both 6-6. And it's "i" before "e" except after "c."

Guys, The biggest plus for KC is their starting middle line backer, Nick Bolton who’s been out the last 4/5 weeks returns today. Btw he was KC’s leading tackler in 2022. Just sayin.

Which team is coming off a bye week and which team lost a game last week that they were supposed to win? It would seem that one team has an edge over the other healthwise.
