Of course the whole thing went down the crapper as most of the smart people knew it did. A lot of bettors went down with it.

Hey guys...what Sharps is doing is no different than you making your own projections using stats. He is letting ESPN Fantasy do their own projections using stats and utilizing them in his handicapping. Not sure what is so wrong with this. I am guessing he has kept track of this and he has come up with a pattern of ATS results. Since none of us has done this, we are blind to his scale and results...would love to have you post your scale and ATS results. While I am watching Sunday Night Football, I go to Pinnacle Sports Dot Com and I copy and paste the early lines they put out for the next week into an Excel spreadsheet. I like to watch line movement throughout the week. Carolina opened as a 1 point dog and now they are a 2.5 point fav. This seems to fall in line with a pattern he has found. Might be worth paying attention to.
As far as the PS3 sims, they were successful at first because they use stats in the gaming software to help make it realistic and make it pertain to the individual teams. We all use stats to some degree in our handicapping so, what's the difference if we let PS3 sim those stats for you or you just use the stats in your own calculations. Where PS3 sims eventually start to fail is, as the season wears on and there are injuries that mess with team chemistry and attitudes, you can't simulate that to come out with a successful outcome. I didn't knock the guy who was posting the sims because he was just using stats a certain way to help him in his handicapping.
Good luck this week...I feel that the dogs will be barking loudly again this week!!

I make fun of all my friends who play fantasy players based on projections let alone try to predict how an NFL game is gonna play out on them. All the projections are inflated man.
