I don’t get it. These guys won the SB and barely lost to a very good Lions team while missing two of their best players. Now they have extra rest, extra time to prepare to play what is essentially a must win game to not go down 0-2 as teams that lose the first two games have historically had an uphill battle in the NFL. I see lots of love for Jacksonville as a live dog and little to no respect for the champs. Give me the best coach and best QB and a prideful SB team over a good coach and good young QB any day of week.

Relatively speaking, there would be more love for the Chiefs in this spot, but people are making the “looks too easy” argument, as stated above. And the prognosticators are split on this game even if the public is cautiously favoring the Chiefs. Yes, they can lose or not cover but I’d rather look stupid backing this team in this spot in week 2, after 10 days to lick their wounds, than any other team.

@begginerboy I'm seeing 67 percent of bets on Chiefs...even more on the Handle...
Do you really trust those sites and their numbers? Even if true, it’s hip to be square. If this was week 6,7,8…I’d worry about backing them. But it’s only week two. These guys should be as fresh as daisies, and looking for their first win.

I don't think this KC team is near as good as last year. Ridley and Lawrence are going to be an unstoppable force this year as they plpay more and more together! This Jags team is legit, especially if they fix their o-line issues. Jags have 5 viable weapons (Ridley, Etienne, Kirk, Jones, Engram), and KC has Kelce, and a bunch of butterfingers. I have the Jags +4, but they could easily win this game.
