If they ran after the TO they would need  a hurry up and chances are something will go wrong. In that situation they had either 1 pass and 2 runs, or 1 run and 2 passes. There wasn't enough time to run it 3 straight.

The pass was a good call becasue everyone thought a run was coming. The pass was not thrown correctly. Like Kap throwing the fade short Wilson the the slant too high. if that ball is 2 or 3 feet lower and the WR is falling it's either caught or incomplete or the WR kicks the ball in th air (highly unlikely).


There was nothing wrong with the play call, it was the execution of the play.  IMO I would have given Rus a play action boot leg to the far side. If the D catches him he can throw it away and save the TO. IMO that leaves the most possibilities open for that play and the following, if needed.

Amazing how anyone who was on pats are now pretending like they didn't just win the most lucky garbage of their guessing life. OF COURSE you run the ball from the 1 yard line. You have a time out with time to run TWO more plays if you need to. When it was 2nd down at the 1 what were you thinking then? "I'm still in this?" Hilarious...

Great post from someone else on a different thread.  The play before halftime....it was a "great" call because they got a TD....what if it got picked or tipped up and the clock ran out....everybody would have been saying it was an awful call to not kick the fg....
Just like this play to end the game.  Everyone in the world thought a run was coming, that's why you pass.  It didn't work out, and the CB made a GREAT play....nothing less

Yea it was....I had the 1H over...so I'm glad Seattle was able 2 put up a fight,but who we kidding?....they never had a chance...evn on that last play,they were never gnna win that game...LOSERS

Glad to see you won all the money you lost on GB with your chase. Lynch (during the entire season) was only stuffed 7% of the time. That means on 93% of plays he got positive yards. Not to mention, he was having his way with that NE defense. A TD was imminent!

Lol...nvm the $$$....I'm jst glad to see russel & Pete walk off that field a LOSER...not 2 mention Sherman,lynch,that guy nobody knows that said Gronk "wasn't really that good",& the rest of the NOBODY'S on that team AND all the losers wearing teal jerseys walking around wth ther chest out....U SUCK...lmao...like McDonald's,I'm LOVIN' it!!!!

Cannot believe people are defending this call, Best back in the nfl  at breaking tackles. he averages 2.8 yards after contact. pats defense is on their heels and tired. run the ball strait down hill. you get stuffed, call immediate time out. prob 21 sec left. during the timeout you call 2 more running plays strait down hill in the huddle. you get stuffed agian the play is over at 16 seconds at the most. ball is spotted with 7 seconds plus and you get last snap off EASILY.  if you got your sh it together. if the pats are super blatant with not cooperating as far as not getting onside or trying to delay garbage, the refs will call it and make sure you get last snap off. qb driven league lmao. sometimes people really lose sight on what this game was founded on, being able to line up and kick the opponents a s s. this was indefensible  point blank period. Any coach worth anything will admit that there is a time in any game where you man the F up and run the ball, REGARDLESS if the Defense know its coming.  Good F ing lawd

  I didn't see the game.  If it's incomplete, you can give it to Lynch on 3rd down.  But what if it's intercepted on 2nd down?  I'm sure that could never happen though.  So how did it turn out?

I had only 4 prop bets in this game, no side or total.. I won the half and the 3rd qtr in my pool for a cool 8K. I would give it back to go back in time so I could slap some fking sense into Carroll. Im just a diehard fan still wondering what the fuk happened.

And I would give the $8k I won last night if I could go back two weeks and not have GB play ULTRA-conservavtive like they did....Seattle should have been on vacation for the last 2 weeks

That's easy to say in hindsight though. The counter argument is that what if Marshawn fumbles? The chance of a goalline fumble is higher than goalline interception past couple years. It's no gimmee either way.

There is risk with any investment. Nothing is guaranteed. I am very good handicapping sports. Very good. Even though Seattle didn't cover this game, they were absolutely the correct play. Unfortunately the wrong outcome happened. The books know better than anyone which is the correct play in many games. This was one of those games. They moved the numbers in this game so clever for two weeks keeping the public so heavy on Pats, while at the same time getting the o/u to exactly 50/50. A thing of beauty. Yeah, the pats won but it took an unlikely, unbelievable "miracle" as we all saw. So for anyone who was on NE. You walked right into a trap and then walked out of it with money "if you really had real money on it" lol. In other words you don't have a fuck in clue about capping, but you can still get lucky and win 50% of the time right?
