They were absolutely the correct play...even wen they lost?...lmao...are u seriously trying to justify jumping on a bandwagon by saying they were the pick even tho it means losing ur $$?...who else did u "invest" in,LeBum & the heat last year?...c'mon,I can go all day against u mr. Its a small sample size, but Lynch was 1 for 5 on 1yd and goal runs from the 1yd this year...thats only 20%

Seattle was 1 for 4 in the game running on 3rd and 1 in this game...thats 25%

Thats 2 for 9 in the same exact spot...

How can you say if they run they win??

Doesn't mean a thing, on 1st down he rumbled breaking tackles for 5 yds and he was pumped up. So you mean to tell me if you were the coach you wouldn't have run Lynch to win the game there/?  I really cant believe you if you say no. This isn't Brady or Rodgers back there, then yes you could throw the ball. You have to play to your teams strengths and running the ball is what got them there.

The question for Carroll now is keeping the locker room together, not whether or not it was a good call

It was a terrible call.  An awful call that will go down in history

Did you see the overhead view when Wilson was about to release the ball??

It was WIDE OPEN....Wilson made a bad throw, and the CB made a great play

If Wilson throws it inside they win game over, and nobody even thinks about it, and Carrol (spelling) is genius for throwing there...

Instead, its a bad throw and a bad call...

Im not saying I dont get why you dont give it to Lynch, but I also see why they tried to throw on 2nd down...

99 of 100 times, that ball is not an INT...and they get a 3rd down or a TD...

Its just funny to hear people say its the worst play call ever...

The THROW was awful, not the call

i'll say this....brady's shock reaction, carroll's drop, richard sherman's joy to shock and despair, pats celebration....

really didn't make sense.

because you see, it was the right call.  the pats had the game in hand.

In over 200+ passes from the 1yd line season, that was the first pass for an INT...so obviously passing from the 1 has a 99.98% of not getting INT...

It wasn't a "slant" it was a pick-play, and it was WIDE open when he was releasing the ball...

The throw was AWFUL, and the CB made a great play

Also, if you look at the season stats, TDS were more successful throwing from the 1yd than running from the 1yd

You have Lynch as your running back, You run the ball 1..2..3 times if you have to. It was the Seahawks game to win or lose..you have THE BEST running game in the NFL, Its what they do...Run to win, end of story,

I guess you do think like Pete Carroll.

So be it, you may be right, I would have run the ball or done play action, there is no chance when the entire game is on the line I leave it up to Wilson's accuracy on a bang-bang play.
