Giants vs Eagles.........................

Question

I just can&#x27;t understand all the love for the Giants covering 7.5 against the Eagles.     They beat probably the absolutely the most over rated team and QB in the playoff bracket in the Vikings and Cousins.     Minnesota just a horrible team.  Covers Consensus 66% Giants 34% Eagles.     I would not even pick the Giants in this game to cover even if it were played at NY.     SB and Walker ran through that swiss cheese defense of the Vikings not going to happen against the Eagles.   Everyone saying how lack luster the Eagles looked in the last few weeks of the schedule they were only trying to do what they had to do to get the number 1 seed to play in rowdy Philly stadium.    Think the Eagles are going to show exactly why they were the number 1 rated NFC team this year Giants won`t be able to keep up.

One thing to remember about the "Covers Consensus". There is no skin in the game. No money involved.

Accuracy of crowd sourcing predictions goes way up if there is something to lose. When there is nothing to lose, you get a lot less of an expertise.

Giants were missing half their defensive starters the first time they played. There have also been significant changes since on both sides of the ball. Think you may be dismissing the Eagles struggles late in the year. Ugly win vs the colts, inept against New Orleans, ugly against the Giants backups. Lane Johnson hurt, Jalen hurt…

the Eagles couldn’t account for what Wink Martindale was sending at them week 18. He’s seeing them for a third time now…

I totally understand the Covers Consensus but looking at the forum here there seems to be just as equal love for the Giants if not a higher.     All I keep reading is this is the third time the two clubs will be facing each other and its so hard for a team to beat the same club three times in one season.    I know Hurts is not 100% and I really think the Giants chance to cover or win this game is if he takes a huge hit and is knocked out of the game.    It seemed last week to me that was Giants SB beating a hapless Vikings team.

Giants and Cowboys are the only two value plays this weekend. Eagles and 49ers played absolute creampuff schedules this year to get where they are... Giants and Cowboys did not. 49ers played (BY FAR) the weakest schedule of any playoff team, and the Eagles played the 2nd weakest schedule. Eagles haven't beat an impressive opponent since they beat the Cowboys by 9 in week 6... 49ers have only beaten one impressive opponent all year (Dolphins).

I don't know why most of this forum (even the famous people) don't bother to look at resumes, but I DO know that is the reason this forum sucks at picking winners.

I think Daniel Jones is gonna use his legs, like last week. Eagles have given up some yards to mobile QBs.

Both teams played same schedule. It was a mush competition.

Eagles team is stacked on both sides.

I personally think the Eagles win, convincingly, jus Jones using his legs scaring me off such a large spread.

Eagles going to be tough to beat at Philly no matter who wins tomorrow either SF or Dallas.    They are showing exactly why they were number 1 all season in the NFC

@ Duderonomy Just wondering if you see any value in the the Eagles yet not exactly sure what the number is going to be in the NFC Championship game but I am sure I will find value you in it for the Eagles even though they played a cream puff schedule they actually took their foot off the pedal last night.
