I think the Bucs offense slows down this week. Chargers defense wellr rested and coming off big Thurs. night win -vs- the miserable Chiefs. Everybody talking about VJax pumped up to play former team - body is saying the Chargers DB's are pumped as well. They know VJax well.
Little stat - Chargers in Novemeber 2009, 2010 = 9-0
Chargers in Novemeber last year = 0-4
wonder what's in store for this year...

Gil, I hear ya on SD nov record, and I'm a homer but I don't trust them on the east coast at all. They were calling for Norv's job if he didn't win last week, they do win, no big deal, the chiefs. The D really won the game last week. The same problems exist, they can't run the ball with any consistency, their lacking playmakers at all receiver positions (yes, that includes Gates) and most of all the O line does not protect Philip. If they can run the ball and give Philip a chance when he drops back they have a shot, if they can't, they don't cover. Positively, I really like the D, their already a sound unit, have some playmakers and will keep them in the game. There is a good chance they get to Freeman a bit and cause him to make mistakes as he is known to do. I will say also, V-Jax has a good game, he wants nothing more than to stick it to AJ. BUT, if the O cannot sustain drives the pressure on the D will outweigh the positives. So, once again, until the O improves, which I don't expect much (i hope) the D will have to keep them in the game and with the game in the east that makes this a no play for me. BOL Gil, as a fan I hope things click on both sides of the ball for a Charger outright win.

I'll play a +DOG with a better defense coming off a Thursday night game every week.

I like he first angle, the second one is worthless to me. Not knowing who was coaching or playing for SD at the time. Its not like these player in 92,94,96, 04 n 08. Maybe Gates and Phillip will remember those games. Then again, it may remind them of home with the weather.
