And, for the record, the Vikings had 5 guys in their secondary on the IR yesterday. They had guys from their special teams playing at cornerback. It's no surprise that he had his best passing game of the season in this spot.
Reality check when he faces the Bears defense. The difference in that one, however, is that he may be able to win that game 3-0 because the Bears' offense is in complete shambles.
A better runner? Tebow
A better thrower? Eli
A better overall QB? Eli
But that's irrelevant. I like Eli but I don't love him. He makes dumb passes all the time. The pass to Tyree was dumb. It worked out. But it was dumb. Same with the pass to Cruz earlier in the season when he tipped it and he got a TD. Eli makes bad choices. He's a solid QB...but he makes too many bad choices and gets lucky because of his talented WRs. But I am more critical to players on my favorite team than I am on others. So maybe it's not a fair assessment.

When I posted this...there were tons of threads about how great Tebow is. Why waste my time going into each and every one of them, invading their threads, and telling them they're wrong?
I decided to make my own thread instead. Why is that wrong?
I am not here to bash Sparky or say Tebow is a top notch QB, this is just my opinion.
The QB is typically the leader on offense and is considered the General on the field, his job is to put his team in a position to win games. Although he is not the most accurate passer nor does he have the strongest arm, Tebow has some intangibles many other QB's dont, take a look at many of the QB's in this leagues body language when walking off the field or sitting on the sideline (Jay Cutler sitting all alone during Bears games), then look at Tebow, the guy has passion about football and you better believe it spills over to many of his teammates.
It is also important a QB does not do things to put his team in a bad position (turnovers), so far Tebow does an excellent job of , in comparison lets look at Phillip Rivers who obviously has a better arm then Tebow, his interceptions this year have killed the Chargers in many games, giving them no chance to win the game at the end.
It is not fair to say, "well once he gets knocked out of the playoffs it will prove my point he is not a good QB", if that is the case then there will be 31 QB's at the end of the year who must not be that good or deserve to be a QB in the NFL.
As long as Sparky bases his thinking that the most important factor of being a good QB is a powerful and accurate arm then he will never be a Tim Tebow guy, and those of us who believe there are many intangibles to take into consideration will look at Tebow as a guy we would be willing to have as a QB on our team. The Broncos will lose games, its inevitable, and the Tebow haters will be out in full force, lets give the guy a few years in the league before determining what type of QB he will be, for gods sake Trent Dilfer was one of the most inept passing QB's I have ever seen and the guy lead his team to a Super Bowl victory.

Back to your completely fucking ridiculous statements, the concept that Eli, yes Eli Manning is not a better QB at this point than Tebow - in terms of THROWING THE BALL - is laughable. Eli's won a SuperBowl. This is his best season, by far. Do you do things like, I don't know, check numbers when throwing out your bullshit? Or just like trolling with ridiculous statements to get a response?
I like Tebow. As a leader, he provides them a spark and it's working for them right now. At some point, defenses will adjust and he'll have to start throwing the ball more than 10 times a game. Let's see how he does then, instead of crowning him after 7 games in the NFL, ok there champ??
